| The village carries the daily production and life of farmers and is an extremely important settlement form.Rural dwellings,which are closely related to traditional rural life,reflect the traditional construction concept and village style of a village.With the improvement of rural material living standards,farmers’ demand for modern living space is gradually expanding,which has contributed to a large number of reconstruction and new construction of rural dwellings.In the wave of rural construction,the construction of voluntary non-governmental organizations still plays a major role.Due to the lack of recognition of the value of rural landscape and regional characteristics,a large number of rural construction aims at low cost and high efficiency.With different styles of farmhouses and weak regionalism,the original characteristics of rural landscape are destroyed,causing the problem of "one thousand villages are all the same".In this context,how to inherit and protect the regional characteristics of rural areas while meeting the demands of farmers for modern life has become the focus of rural development.Dianfanghe village is a typical natural village built leaning the mountains in southern Shaanxi.Traditional dwellings in Dianfanghe village due to the location,flexible layout,local materials,formed a unique rural regional characteristics.However,due to the function and space of traditional dwellings can not meet the needs of modern life,many traditional dwellings have been seriously damaged.In order to solve the problem of villagers living,the government of Dianfanghe planned to build resettlement dwellings in batches,which basically met the modernization in terms of space and architectural structure.Due to the lack of guidance,resettlement dwellings lost the regional characteristics of traditional dwellings in terms of architectural style,shape and layout.In order to protect the rural structure of Dianfanghe Village,passing on its regional characteristics,and solve the residential problems of villagers,this research,from the perspective of regional characteristics,uses theoretical analysis,field research,induction and summary methods,etc.to draw a residential design strategy for Dianfanghe Village,and hopes to play a certain reference role in other rural construction with similar problems in southern Shaanxi.First of all,through the analysis of the related theory of rural residence,sum up regional characteristics and the relationship between the rural residence.Secondly,summarize the problems and development needs of the dwellings in Dianfanghe Village,then try to screen the inheritable regional characteristics by investigation of Dianfanghe Village and its dwellings.Thirdly,screen the construction cases of traditional residential houses that are similar to the regional characteristics of Dianfanghe Village and related to the problems of residential houses.According to these analyses,the representation of regional characteristics in residential design is obtained.Finally,combining theory and practice,aiming at the current problems and the needs of future residential development,the concrete methods for the construction of residential buildings in Dianfanghe Village were constructed.Based on the regional characteristics of Dianfanghe village and the demand of residents’ living constructures,this research puts forward series of strategies of restore for locals.In view of the future dwellings,the relevant design strategies are proposed in terms of layout,courtyard form,architectural modeling,structural materials,interior space of buildings and courtyard landscape design,etc.supplemented with relevant drawings for subsequent construction.Dianfanghe village is a valley village dominated by small-scale peasant economy.Its settlement structure and the development process of rural dwellings are representative among the mountainous villages in southern Shaanxi.The residential design strategy of Dianfanghe Village has practical guiding significance for the future residential construction of Dianfanghe Village,and also provides theoretical reference for the construction of other similar types of rural residential buildings. |
