| Various diseases of the asphalt pavement will affect the driving comfort and safety of the road.Preventive maintenance technology is one of the effective measures to repair the nonstructural damage of the pavement and reduce or delay the overhaul of the pavement.As a new type of pavement preventive maintenance technology,ultra-thin functional layer has the advantages of effectively repairing pavement diseases,reducing pavement noise,and improving pavement anti-skid performance.Therefore,it is widely used,but there are also certain problems: if Nova Paver equipment is used to construct the interlayer bonding material and asphalt mixture simultaneously,not only will the cost be high,but also the adaptability to heavy traffic needs to be further demonstrated.The use of traditional equipment for construction and paving with high-performance materials developed by research and development will reduce the overall cost of ultra-thin functional layer,but the durability of the road surface is difficult to guarantee.Based on this,this article carried out economical ultra-thin functional layer material design and durability research,in order to provide feasible solutions for my country’s road maintenance technology.In order to study the effect of interlayer bonding materials and mixture types on the performance of ultra-thin functional layer pavement,three interlayer bonding materials of ordinary emulsified asphalt,SBR modified emulsified asphalt and high-performance modified emulsified asphalt and three asphalt mixtures of AC-10,UT-10 and Nova Chip-Type B are used to form ultra-thin functional layer.And carry out the corresponding experimental research on the ultra-thin functional layer.Compatibility design is carried out for the composition of emulsified asphalt materials,and the optimal ratio of raw materials of each emulsified asphalt is determined according to the specification requirements.The influence of different construction techniques on interlayer bonding effect was studied by interlayer shear test and pull-out test.Based on the interlaminar shear strength of specimens with different freeze-thaw cycles,the durability of interlaminar bonding was studied.The rutting tester was used to test whether the interlayer binder adhered to the wheel in the laboratory.The gradation and optimum asphalt dosage of AC-10,UT-10 and Novachip-Type B asphalt mixtures were designed.When mixing asphalt mixtures,different dosages of reinforcing agents were added,and the asphalt mixtures with different dosages of reinforcing agents were tested for road performance.Based on the life cycle theory,the economic benefits of the ultra-thin functional layer asphalt mixture were analyzed and compared with the Nova Chip ultra-thin overlay.The direct benefit analysis of different preventive maintenance measures was carried out by taking the cost of materials and mechanical equipment as the research object.The indirect economic cost during the road operation period was analyzed.Finally,considering the full life cycle theory and equal life cycle theory,and calculating the annual equivalent cost under different maintenance programs. |
