In the context of striving for "carbon peak and carbon neutrality" and building new power systems,power systems with high proportional renewable power sources has become an inevitable trend in the development of our country’s power systems.How to accommodate uncertain renewable power sources such as wind power and photovoltaic power is an urgent problem to be solved in power systems with high proportional renewable power sources.As the most mature large-capacity energy storage technology,pumped storage can be used as the main means of accommodation in power systems with high proportional renewable power sources.Based on the background of power systems with high proportional renewable power sources,this paper has carried out research on pumped hydro storage stations for accommodation,related energy models,and.the real-time accommodation scheduling considering pumped hydro storage stations.Starting from the analysis of the power balance mechanism of a high-proportion renewable energy grid,the principle of accommodating uncertain renewable energy is clarified,and the operation mechanism of the accommodation-type pumped hydro storage station and the design of its main electric energy parameters are studied.The main target for design and operation of the accommodation-type pumped hydro storage station is the accommodation of renewable power sources.This paper analyzes the operating mechanism and characteristics of the design and operation of the accommodation-type pumped hydro storage station,distinguishing it from the traditional pumped hydro storage station used for peak regulation.The main electric energy parameters and their connections of the accommodation-type pumped hydro storage station are studied,and the electric energy parameter design method based on statistical data of uncertain power and uncertain energy is proposed.Based on the statistical data of Zhangjiakou wind farm,the example illustrates the design method for electric energy parameters of accommodation-type pumped hydro storage station.The energy model of the pumped hydro storage station is established.The concept,"energy water head",is proposed to describe the potential energy of the upper reservoir for generation;the boundary energy water head is analyzed,and the value of the rated energy water head is determined.The storage function is constructed to describe the relationship between the water storage of upper reservoir for generation,the water level of gravity center and the water level of upper reservoir.which is used to calculate the energy head online.Based on energy water head,the calculation formula for energy storage is derived,and the energy storage capacity is the energy storage corresponding to the rated energy water head.The relationship between power and energy during operation of the pumped hydro storage station is analyzed.Finally,taking a planned pumped hydro storage station as an example,its energy model is established.A multi-object real-time consumption optimal dispatch model for pumped storage power plants is established.With the optimization goal of maximizing the grid-connected power of uncertain renewable energy,maximizing the utilization rate of pumped-storage power plants,and minimizing the generation power of thermal power units,in addition to the classic network constraints and power generation constraints,the power constraints and energy constraints of pumped-storage power plants are added.A scheduling cycle is equally divided into multiple periods,and optimized period by period.GUROBI solver is used to solve the model.Finally,the established optimization model is applied to IEEE-39 system,and the validity of the model is verified.The research work done in this thesis has certain positive significance for promoting the large-scale application of pumped hydro storage stations to the accommodation of renewable power sources,as well as the large-scale grid-connected operation of uncertain renewable power sources such as wind power and photovoltaic power.Meanwhile,it can provide a certain theoretical reference for improving the dispatch control system of power systems with high proportional renewable power sources.
