Study On Public Space Design Of Valley Type Villages In Southern Shaanxi From The Perspective Of Environmental Behavior

Public space is an important product in the process of rural development.It carries the most basic public life of the main body of rural life.Since the rural revitalization strategy was put forward and implemented in 2019,rural construction has always been the focus of national attention and is now faced with new development opportunities.The government has invested a lot of manpower and material resources and introduced relevant policies to promote rural industries and actively improve the rural living environment.Located in qinba mountain in the core position,the natural environment of vulnerability and landform characteristics in a certain extent affect the villagers’ production and living ways,at the same time the public space as main part but there is a rural living environment unreasonable distribution,single function,poor environmental quality problem can’t meet the demand of villagers’ daily life.Therefore,it is of great significance to combine the construction of rural public space with villagers’ demands for life for good rural development.According to the practical development needs of rural areas in southern Shaanxi,this paper takes 6 mountain and valley villages in the low mountain and hilly areas of southern Shaanxi as the research objects,and conducts field visits in Shangluo City(Dianfanghe Village and Huayuan Village),Ankang City(Shengli Village and Shaba Village),and Hanzhong City(Qili Village and Shawo Village).First of all,by taking the theories related to environmental behavior and public space design as the basic guidance of this study,the content of the valley-type village in southern Shaanxi is summarized and the status quo of the main elements of public space,including square space,courtyard space,street space,waterfront space and node space,is analyzed.And through the observation of the characteristics of villagers’ activities and behaviors and the questionnaire interview survey to understand the psychological needs and satisfaction of villagers,so as to conclude the problems existing in the construction of public space in the valley rural areas of southern Shaanxi.Secondly,through an in-depth analysis of the five aspects of influencing factors and morphological characteristics,structural level,interface scale,spatial perception and expression concept of the construction of rural public space in the valley of southern Shaanxi,four principles of demand,regionality,guidance and coupling are proposed to guide and improve the construction of rural public space.According to the morphological characteristics,public space structure types and villagers’ needs of valley villages in southern Shaanxi,the design strategies of increasing the enthusiasm of public participation,rational spatial system layout and spatial environment quality improvement are proposed.Finally,the public space design is carried out with the example of Dianfanghe Village in Shangnan County.According to the strategy,the content of the public space in Dianfanghe Village is classified and detailed designed.It is hoped that the proposed strategies can provide some references for the construction of rural public space in the river valley of southern Shaanxi in the future.
