The development of prefabricated buildings in China has ups and downs with twists and turns.With the progress of technology,prefabricated buildings rose again since the beginning of the 21 st century,but they faced a series of problems of management,such as no adaptation of the traditional management system has led to disorderly management problems when prefabricated buildings are faced with a convergency of management elements.The success of projects relies on the organic combination of technology and management.The development of prefabricated buildings needs corresponding systematic management,which involves interaction between elements in a multi-dimensional way.Based on the IPD concept and facing the Pearl River Delta region,this paper conducts relevant studies on the influence relationship of integrated management elements of prefabricated building projects as follows:Firstly,contrast and analyze four management modes that are widely used in prefabricated buildings,and determine the idea of adaptation and optimization which is to extract the integrated management elements from EPC,PMC and IPD modes,and emphasize the mutual influence relationship among the elements;through literature review and expert interview,the dimensions and influencing factors of integrated management of prefabricated buildings in the Pearl River Delta are initially selected mainly including dimensions of organization,information,resources,and environment,and then the index system of influencing factors of integrated management is finally determined through questionnaire empirical analysis and factor analysis method;Secondly,a hierarchical structure of influencing factor indicators is obtained by using the qualitative structural method of interpreted structural model(ISM),so as to classify the factors according to different intensity of influence relationship,and determine different management levels and their influence relations;based on the influence relationship of ISM,a SEM hypothesis model is built and the corresponding hypotheses are put forward.The relationship between management dimensions and the influence degree among internal elements of each dimension are quantitatively measured by the measurement model and the structural model,and the hypotheses are verified.It is found that:1.Organization dimension has a significant positive direct effect on information dimension(0.684);2.Information dimension has a significant positive direct effect on environment dimension(0.563);3.Environment dimension has a significant positive direct effect on organization dimension(0.63);4.Organization dimension has a significant positive direct effect on resource dimension(0.918);5.Information dimension does not directly affect resource dimension;6.The most influential factors in the four dimensions of organization,information,resources and environment are normative guidance of the whole process management(0.841),the construction of the project information platform(0.907),the application of innovative technology(0.779)and policy support(0.855).Finally,according to the measurement results of the inter-layer influence model of ISM and the quantitative influence relationship of SEM,corresponding management countermeasures are proposed that root layer needs prior attention and implementation,while middle layer can be combined with new organizational mode and surface layer can offer a reference for hierarchical and phased performance targets setting.This paper takes the multi-factor interaction integrated multi-dimensional concept of IPD into the research of prefabricated building management and governance,combining qualitative hypothesis and the method of quantitative validation,to put forward an integrated management logic framework of prefabricated building in the Pearl River Delta,which provides some reference for development of prefabricated building management practice.Hopefully this research helps the growth of prefabricated building in China to promote the healthy and sustainable development of prefabricated building.
