The rapid growth of China’s consumer market has created a huge demand for new wearable products in China.As they are close-fitting products,wearable products have a much higher requirement for product comfort than ordinary industrial products.In particular,some wearing products such as bicycle helmets,VR glasses,goggles,typical products,need with good head type of joint performance,to has the wearing comfort and safety protection,but because of the complexity of the human head shape,wearing surface inside the product form design must reference head type,need the head type data and analysis tools to assist in the design.At present,head-wear product designers generally face problems such as difficulty in obtaining human head and face data information,unreliable data information and inconvenient use of data in the design process.In view of the above problems,this study designed and developed a headset product assistant design platform to assist designers in product design,improve the wearing comfort of headset products,and promote the development of 3D body-data-driven product fit design.First of all,this paper carried out a literature review on the construction status of three-dimensional human head and face database,and carried out a user study on target users.Combined with the results of literature review and user research,the user needs of the head-wear product-aided design platform were defined,and the functional framework of the platform was integrated.Secondly,combining interaction design methods and principles,the function of the platform is planned and defined,and the overall task flow of users is summarized,which lays a foundation for the browser-oriented design of the platform users.At the same time,the content to be displayed under each function is analyzed to ensure that users can smoothly use each function and implement the user-centered interaction design concept.In addition,based on the concept and design objectives of the platform development,the visual design of the interface of the platform is carried out,the development process of the core functions of the platform is mainly introduced,and the core functions are analyzed and elaborated with the combination of pictures and texts.Finally,the platform usability test was carried out to verify whether the platform could meet the needs of users and whether there were problems in the operation of the system.The test results showed that the subjects had a high degree of overall satisfaction with the platform and affirmed the practicability and innovation of the functions and contents provided by the platform.Further,this paper carried out design practice to verify the feasibility of the platform.Two in-service product designers were invited to improve the design of a type of goggles using the traditional design method and the method based on the head-mounted product-aided design platform,and then the design processes of the two methods were compared.The results show that the products of the latter model have a higher degree of human consideration,which indicates that the platform has certain social and commercial value in the design of the adaptability of future head-mounted products.
