Jingxing is located in the southwest border area of Hebei Province,separated by only one mountain from Shanxi.Jingxing Ancient Road,as an important communication route between Shanxi and Hebei provinces,is a floating cultural belt with a long history.The regions along the road have complex geographical structure,constant military disputes,frequent cultural exchanges and active construction activities.The public space of traditional settlements is an important carrier for villagers to carry out public activities and an important place to reflect the local customs and civilization.The public space of traditional settlements along Jingxing ancient road has formed its own characteristic form under the very distinctive geographical environment and multicultural background.Based on the Jingxing area special geographic structure and abundant humane environment,for Jingxing ancient as the clues,comprehensive typological approach,the public space of the traditional settlements along detailed ground investigation.At the same time,combining with the history of research,and further explore its influencing factors.Finally,puts forward some for Jingxing ancient traditional settlements
