| The laminated construction glass is widely applied used in the construction buildings,such as high-rise glass curtain walls with the advantage of the weather resistance,corrosion resistance,beautiful shapes,heat resistance,significant impact resistance and high strength.However,the laminated construction glass was extremely vulnerable to impact loads such as foreign objects,explosions and huge economic losses were caused with the damage.At present,there are few related experiments and numerical simulation studies on laminated construction glass,(Composited laminated glass with PVB for construction).Besides,there are less impact test studied on the corresponding low-speed load.Research on the impact properties of single-layer glass(common float glass and tempered glass)and laminated glass(float laminated glass and tempered laminated glass)is of significance in the theoretical aspects and the application of engineering practice.In this paper,the single-layer glass and laminated glass with PVB of static load tensile performance test,dynamic load impact performance test and finite element numerical simulation are studied for the comparison of the tensile properties and impact resistance of the two types of glass.Firstly,the domestic and foreign research status of common glass,tempered glass,and laminated glass with PVB are researched.The domestic and foreign research overviews are summarized from the two aspects of material mechanical properties and laminated glass impact load.The current research status of dynamic impact load performance is described in order to get the main research content and significance of low speed impact performance research in this paper.Secondly,based on the static load test requirements,the mechanical properties of tempered glass and common float glass under static load are studied.The material mechanical tensile test is carried out,and the mechanical properties parameters of basic materials,such as the constitutive relationship,elastic modulus,failure mode,ultimate stress,etc.,are obtained for the comparison of the mechanical properties of the two forms of glass.Thirdly,the drop impact test of laminated glass with PVB for construction was designed and implemented according to the relevant test standards.The failure mechanism of laminated glass under the drop impact loading were studied and analyzed.The failure mode and influencing factors of laminated glass under the drop impact loading were obtained with the analysis of the failure mode,fracture crack failure mode and the failure style.Finally,the dynamic response of laminated glass under drop impact load was studied using finite element numerical simulation method,with the combination with the mechanical properties of the basic materials of laminated glass.The accuracy of the finite element simulation method was determined with the comparison of finite element results and drop impact test results.The effect of the impact factors,such as glass thickness,interlayer thickness and glass size,was studied based finite element simulation method.The application significance and application prospect of laminated glass with PVB for construction in engineering construction are obtained with the combination of the existing research results. |
