Research On The Effect Of Community Elderly Facilities And Services On The Depression Of Middle-aged And Elderly People

In recent years,with the rapid improvement of the level of social and economic development,the aging of our country’s population has continued to deepen,and people’s demand for higher quality elderly care is increasing.In addition to physical health,the mental health of the elderly has also attracted widespread attention.Among them,depression in the elderly is considered to be the most common mental disorder in the elderly.The community home-based care model is an important measure to deal with the challenges of aging and solve the problem of elderly care.Its community elderly care facilities and services play a key role in the effect of home-based care.Many studies have shown that the built environment of the community has an important impact on depression,but the current research mainly focuses on the impact of a single community infrastructure on the depression of residents,and the attention to community services is not high,and the community home care service system is not clearly defined.Therefore,constructing a complete community home care system and studying the impact of community care facilities and services on the depression of middle-aged and elderly people is of great significance for how to give full play to the advantages of the community,fine-tune the development of community home care services,and effectively intervene in the depression of middle-aged and elderly groups.Based on the review of domestic and foreign literature and the interpretation of domestic policies,this thesis uses community aging facilities and services as an entry point to construct a complete community home care system.Based on the tracking survey data of CHARLS,CFPS and CLHLS,Middle-aged and elderly people as the research object,using repeated measures multi-level mixed effect logistic regression model,analyzed the impact of community aging facilities and services on the depression of the overall population and different categories of people,and ranked the importance of the influencing factors.The results of empirical analysis show that community hardware facilities are more conducive to reducing the risk of depression for middle-aged and elderly people than software services,and housing conditions in community hardware facilities have the most significant impact on depression.In addition,the community power supply,outdoor fitness equipment,elderly activity center and other factors are significantly related to the depression of middle-aged and elderly people,and community aging facilities and services have different effects on the depression of different groups of people,especially for urban and rural residents.In order to further test the reliability of the results of data analysis and understand the allocation of community resources and the mental health of the elderly in the community,this thesis conducted a case study and analysis,and summarized the problems that may be encountered in the actual development of community home care services.Finally,combining the results of data analysis and case studies,it puts forward guiding suggestions from the aspects of community planning,community governance,and the development of community home care services.
