Research On The Design Of The Mechanical Parts Of The Economic And Commercial Moving Walk

As a branch product of escalator,the moving walk is a fixed electric drive equipment with circulation running walkway,which is used to transport passengers with horizontal or inclined angle no more than 12 degrees.It can be used in airports,large shopping malls,supermarkets,stations and other places where people are concentrated.The structure of the moving walk is similar to escalator,but compared with the escalator,there will be no ladder like steps in the area where the passengers are riding,so that the passengers can push the shopping cart or luggage cart directly onto the moving walk.This paper studies the design calculation and test verification of the main mechanical components of the moving walk,and introduces the whole design process from the perspective of the whole system.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper introduces truss which is the main loading component of the moving walk,including the selection of truss material,the design of intermediate support and segment,the selection of surface treatment,etc.,and then introduces how to carry out the finite element analysis of the main structure and its auxiliary structure of the truss,so as to verify the theoretical design.Then it introduces the function and selection of the main part of the guide rail system,such as the pallet,pallet chain,drive station,upper and lower modules and the inclined section guide rails.Then it introduces the calculation of the speed and power of drive station and the safety factor of some driving elements(such as the pallet chain,main driving chain)in combination with the design parameters.Finally,it verifies the design through the finite element analysis and calculation whether the guide rail of inclined section meets the design requirements.Then the paper introduces the structure and design requirements of handrail belt,handrail guiderail,handrail drive device and handrail tension device in detail.On this basis,the speed calculation of handrail and how to calculate the theoretical tension of handrail are analyzed.Then the guide system of handrail is introduced briefly.Finally,the whole test and verification process of handrail is discussed and analyzed.At last,this paper analyzes the testing method of the moving walk based on the experience.First,it analyzes and verifies the compliance of the standard which is divided into two parts:the size compliance verification and the function compliance verification,to ensure that the newly developed moving walk meets the relevant requirements of national standard;then is carries out the long time running test to ensure that the following batch production of the moving walk has no issue.In this paper,the research on the overall design and subsequent test analysis of the moving walk is the accumulation of the author’s work for many years,only to provide reference suggestions for the selection of materials and structural design of the moving walk components,so as to jointly promote the development and improvement of the moving walk industry.
