The order characteristics of automobile after-sales market are many product models,small batch and short cycle.Each order has hundreds of models and thousands of products,and requires delivery within a month and a half.In order to obtain more orders in the competition,the manufacturers constantly meet the personalized needs and delivery needs of customers.Manufacturers often have a large number of overstocked materials when their own management level and processing capacity are insufficient to meet customer requirements.ODN company is a professional manufacturer of automobile transmission shaft,which mainly serves the automobile aftermarket.80%of its products are sold all over the world through international trade,with more than 500 main customers.The company has more than 6000 transmission shaft assembly models and more than 9000 constant velocity universal joint models.which can basically cover passenger vehicles all over the world,mainly produced according to orders.ODN company has an annual output value of more than 800 million yuan,but the capital occupation of inventory materials is more than 90 million yuan,including the overstock of raw material inventory,in-process products in workshop,finished products in finished product warehouse,etc.,which increases the cost and reduces the competitiveness of the enterprise.This paper studies and analyzes the problem of material overstock in ODN company and puts forward the optimization plan.First of all,this paper analyzes the causes of overstock of raw materials.and finds out that the causes of overstock of raw materials are caused by different purchase modes,and proposes an optimization method to control the quantity and specification of raw materials input;Secondly,it concludes that the overstock of materials in the line side warehouse of the production site is caused by low production efficiency and slow material flow,so it puts forward to improve the production Third,the analysis shows that the overstock of finished materials in the finished product warehouse is caused by too many personalized needs of customers,so the optimization method of integrating the personalized needs of different customers is proposed.By purchasing rough directly from forging plant instead of raw materials directly from steel plant,the purchase quantity and specification of raw materials are reduced,the overstock and capital occupation of raw materials are reduced;Through the automatic transformation of the equipment,the production efficiency of the equipment is improved,the rapid flow of materials on the production site is realized,and the backlog of in-process products in the line side warehouse on the production site is reduced;By integrating the individual needs of different customers,the material types are greatly reduced,the production order batches are increased,and finally the finished product inventory and capital occupation in the finished product warehouse are reduced.The preliminary practice results show that the improved optimization method in this paper can reduce the material funds by 7%.
