Study On The Public Space Activation Of The Old Residential Area Under The Construction Of Environmental Behavior ——Take Yangzhou Zhangzhuang Community As An Example

The process of urbanization develops continuously under the catalysis of the current social environment and humanistic factors,and the renewal of urban public space goes to a deeper exploration.The complexity and urgency of the reconstruction of old communities also make it an important livelihood issue and current politics.The government and the community began to carry out top-down hardware upgrading and basic transformation.Although the living conditions of residents are improved to a certain extent,there are still aspects that can be optimized from the perspective of design.Taking the main population of residents as the foothold,comprehensively and objectively understand the public behavior and actual psychological needs of residents,through targeted transformation,scientifically and effectively activate the public space,meet the living facilities,and pay more attention to the improvement of spiritual and emotional state brought by environmental quality.Based on the theory of environmental behavior,starting from the interaction between residents’ behavior and common space,we summarize the remarkable behavior characteristics of old community residents and the common problems of public space,and provide exploratory ideas for the multi-dimensional activation of old community public space.As a typical old community,Yangzhou City Hanjiang District Zhangzhuang Community public space activation and transformation,that is,from the perspective of entity and humanity,around the spatial function,landscape ecology,neighborhood relations and community culture four aspects of specific development.Based on the residents’behaviors and subjective feelings,we can understand their daily activities and psychological needs,and summarize the relationship between the spatial current situation and the residents’behavior.At the same time,the "neighborhood" relationship is the starting point of space activation,deduce the word "neighborhood",use modular space combination,restore ecological landscape,create community culture,effectively solve the weak participation consciousness of residents,single green landscape,traffic streamline crossing,public space occupation and insufficient cultural atmosphere,create a healthy community and repair urban texture.
