Sex is an unavoidable topic in one’s life,and it manifests differently at different stages of life.No matter at which stage,proper sex education has played a positive role in people’s physical and mental development.School-age children already have a vague awareness of sex;scientific and reasonable sex education for children in this stage will have a significant impact on children’s physical and psychological development.With the change of times,the Chinese public’s attitude towards children’s sexuality education is negative.On the contrary,due to the frequent occurrence of child sexual abuse in recent years,more and more people have begun to pay attention to and support children’s sexuality education.However,due to the particularity of the content of children’s sex education,implementing the education was not smooth.In addition to the children,parents,teachers and other persons directly related to children’s sex education also play an essential role in sex education.Therefore,how to provide strong support for the development of children’s sexuality education from the perspective of products is the focus of this study.This study uses Cite Space to analyze the research related to children’s sexuality education,and finds that the existing children’s sexuality education product design mostly focuses on the design of picture books,and there is a lack of research on other types of children’s sexuality education products.And most of them are carried out from the application level,and there is no systematic design strategy for children’s sex education products.In view of this research gap,this research deeply explores the problems existing in the process of sexuality education for school-age children through content analysis,and at the same time uses co-design theory and methods to analyze the problems encountered by the stakeholders of child sexuality education in the process of education implementation.Taking the needs of the education side as the starting point,the design strategy of children’s sex education products is put forward.First of all,in order to determine the service objects of child sex education products,the stakeholders of child sex education are analyzed,and two main parties are summarized: the teaching party and the educated party.Then,the two groups of subjects were respectively collected data,mainly through interviews with teaching part,and data collection on school-age children through the use of two-dimensional scribble paper generative tools.Secondly,it analyzes and sorts out the user information,explores the problems existing in the process of children’s sex education and areas that need to be improved,and summarizes the needs of this two groups of children’s sex education.Finally,the design strategy of children’s sex education products is put forward,and according to the design strategy,the prototype of children’s sex education products was made,which can provide reference for the subsequent design of children’s sex education products.
