| With the development of modern logistics and the popularization of the "Customer first" service concept,the logistics industry has shown obvious characteristics of buyer’s market.Under the increasingly fierce market competition,the advantages and disadvantages of waterborne,railway transportation and highway transportation have been further magnified.In order to improve customer satisfaction and seek the optimal value between cost and efficiency,multimodal transport,especially water-rail combined transport,has been paid more and more attention by the government and enterprises in recent years.This paper selects the ore transportation of Yueyang Chenglingji Harbor,the largest water-rail combined transportation point of China Railway Guangzhou Group Co.,Ltd,as the main research object,analyzes the current situation of the water-rail combined transportation mode of Chenglingji Harbor,and expounds problems that imported ore transferred from overseas to hinterland through water-rail combined transportation may produce.The problems,existing in the process of reaching the hinterland are analyzed from four aspects: the stability and timeliness of the supply chain,the satisfaction of customer needs,the protection of the ecological environment,and the analysis of costs and benefits.Combined with the knowledge of supply chain management,I propose a reconstruction plan for the existing model of Chenglingji Harbor,that is,through deepening the cooperation among railways,Chenglingji Harbor and enterprises,to transform Chenglingji Harbor from a simple transshipment point into a logistics platform which makes it become the center of resource integration and resource optimization.Clarifying the management structure and main responsibilities of the tripartite cooperation between the railways,the enterprise and the port around the key technologies for the implementation of this plan,and we propose Upgrading suggestions based on analyzing the existing facilities and equipment.Finally,I use EOQ model to calculate the economic order quantity and storage capacity cost of enterprises under the new mode,and the storage capacity optimization theory is used to calculate the storage capacity structure of Chenglingji Harbor under the new mode.Detailed measures are put forward for the transportation organization of railways in the port,meanwhile carrying out a comparative analysis based on the respective status quo of railways,enterprises and ports.This paper demonstrate the advantages of the new model of ore supply chain from the perspective of cost and efficiency,and provide directions and ideas about the high-quality development of railway freight. |
