Research On Optimization Of Container Transportation Business Process Management Of Beijiao Railway Station Based On Lean Management

Since 2013,freight reform,boost of standardization of freight yard management,implement of electronic bills of railway freight and other reforms have been carried out so as to contribute to the decrease of production costs,increase transport efficiency and benefit.Among them,the existent freight stations like Northern Suburb railway station,in the face of the rapid development of container transportation business but limited by facilities,equipment and organizational structure and other factors,has to put forward higher requirement for container transportation business management mode of freight station together with more refined management and more practical targeted process management optimization to improve the operation efficiency of railway container transportation.The research object of this paper was to optimize and study the problems of outstanding process management in the management site regarding the container transport and railway sending service of Northern Suburb railway station as target with the core idea of eliminating all unnecessary waste in lean management to propose preferable plan by applying lean management theory and process management optimization method.At first,the necessity of railway container transportation optimization based on lean management was put forward after systematically analyzing research literates on railway container transportation,lean management and business process management optimization in this paper.Secondly,the program analysis method and in-depth interview method were employed to identify the main problems such as complicated and redundant process,imperfect field management system,internal friction in organizational structure,unbalanced production and so on,and the causes of the problems were analyzed profoundly.The optimization scheme based on lean management as well as the optimization principle and objective was designed in view of the waste in the container transport and delivery service of the Northern Suburb railway station and the actual production operation of the freight station.Final relevant guaranteed measures were put forward after the plan was improved by 5S management,business process optimization,organizational structure optimization,facilities and equipment optimization to reduce waste and level up efficiency.The research of this paper will be helpful to advance implementation of lean management in the Northern Suburb railway station.In addition,it can also provide reference and guidance for other similar existent railway freight stations to implement the management optimization of container transport delivery business process based on lean management in the future.
