Study On The Accessibility Design Of Wuhan Hongshan Square Pedestrian Space

The content of this paper is the boundary,scale and form of pedestrian space in urban square design.The city square should have the basic function to meet the outdoor activities and communication needs of residents,and the spatial structure should adapt to the urban development and meet the basic requirements of accessibility.City square has increasingly become the most important part of urban public space,the city square provides a space for residents to hold collective cultural activities,including rest,sightseeing,exercise and socializing.Especially,the square in the high-density residential area should not only meet these functional requirements,but also provides more humanized urban walking space.With the rapid development of the city,the design of urban square should include the functional perspective of residents’ activity places,and In the design of urban square,we should not only focus on the functional perspective of residents’ activity places,but also conduct design research from the perspective of urban users.Therefore,how to make the city square as the carrier of spirit and activities that.so that it can better play its role and benefit,and with its surrounding environment coordination and integration,is a subject worthy of in-depth research.At the beginning,this essay defines the concept of urban space,and analyzes the different classification of the square,the historical evolution of the city square at home and abroad,the design characteristics of the square and the design logic of the pedestrian space in all kinds of square.It reveals the importance of the user’s experience in the design of the city square.In order to solve the increasingly prominent contradiction between the user and the square.The user experience is mainly reflected in this three aspects,design conception,planning,and the accessibility of the pedestrian space inside the square.Among them,the application of the "accessibility" theory is the key to make the city square become a place with high efficiency.There are many factors play an important role in improving the vitality of the city square space and enhancing the utilization rate of the functional space,the accessibility degree between the pedestrian space and the functional space,between the surrounding environmental space and the internal space of the square,as well as the scale,boundary and landscape connection degree of the pedestrian space.Influenced by different factors on the square space walk and the research use the crowd in the square space of psychology and behavior change.We can summed up the most important factors which can improve the accessibility of city square space walk.Finally,the analysis of the above theories provides a literature foundation for the design practice project of Wuhan Hongshan Square,including the formation of design ideas and plans,the location and base analysis of the site,the design of the overall scheme of the project and etc.It is hoped that this project can improve the accessibility of urban square walking space,and provide relevant reference and guidance for future urban square design.
