| In recent years, with the promotion of rural construction and the rise of rural tourism, the contemporary countryside increasingly presents a social form of Neo-vernacular.Traditional life and modern civilization are inevitably intertwined. In this context, the contemporary rural public buildings not only need to strive to retain the local tradition, but also accept the modern way of life,to achieve the integration of vernacular and modernity. This paper attempts to systematically summarize the design strategies of Neo-vernacular public buildings,so as to provide help for the future development and practice of Neo-vernacular architecture. The design and research idea of this paper consists of three parts. The first part is the study of Neo-vernacular and rural public buildings.Through literature review and analysis, this paper combs the relationship between vernacular architecture and Neo-vernacular architecture, summarizes the research status of relevant theories, and establishes the overall framework of the paper. The second part is the specific exploration of the design strategy of Neo-vernacular public buildings.Based on the research and analysis of the two characteristics of Neo-vernacular public buildings, which are "emphasis on vernacular" and "pursuit of modernity",a Neo-vernacular public building design framework including organic, local, public and suitability is established. This paper analyzes the design origin and design methods of three Neo-vernacular practice cases of Xujia courtyard in Nanjing,Xianfeng Public Library & Bookstore in Songyang and rural cultural auditorium in Anji, and sums up 11 strategies points including vernacular materials, traditional skills, conforming to the site and multiple functions. Thus, the overall framework of the Neo-vernacular public building design strategy is established. After that, each strategy point in the design framework is discussed in detail.Through the demonstration of the example diagram,it further illustrates the application mode and application scenario of these strategy points, and forms the specific design strategy for the new rural construction. The third part is the practical application of Neo-vernacular architecture design strategy. The practice project is the design of the public group at the entrance of mugou village, including three public buildings, namely tourist service center, wetland exhibition center and rural reception hall. The design focuses on the application of local materials, the improvement of traditional structures, the utilization of local environment, the application of modern structures, and the mixing of new and old buildings, and actively explores the feasibility and applicability of Neo-vernacular construction strategies in practical application. Finally, the paper puts forward suggestions and prospects for the future development direction of Neo-vernacular construction. The whole thesis contains about 34000 words,129 pictures and charts. |
