Research On Subway Interior Funtional Elements Based On Kano Model

Rail transit is convenient to people’s life while advances social development,which has fed many users’ needs,with unprecedented prosperity.Among that,the subway has become an important way with the characteristics of efficiency,reliability and environmental-friendly public transport,enjoying high popularity with the majority.With the development of society and improvement of living standards,the passengers have further requirements about experience of subway.It is the mainstream to let passengers have safer,more convenient and comfortable experience.This study will analyze to what extent the different kind of needs that may existing affect the passengers’ satisfaction with the design philosophy of user-centered,from the starting point of passengers’ demands survey,through the Kano model.This study includes two parts: theory and practice.In the theoretical part,this study analyzes the subway development situation from home and abroad by field survey.This study classified the functional elements to 6 types,defining and analyzing them.This study will know about passengers’ demands with methods of direct observation,questionnaire and users’ interview,combined with philosophy of passengers’ demands and satisfaction in order to make sure the demands projects and Kano index.Making Kano questionnaire need to have further investigation and survey with online and offline two methods working meantime.Building Kano model with survey results and calculating the level of satisfaction and dissatisfaction of each functional element in order to s ensitivity analysis matrix.In the practical part,the study will discuss about 6 types of functional elements of subway passengers’ compartment separately according to the data from Kano model and sensitivity data in the theoretical part to carry out desi gn practice.This study will also talk about 21 types functional elements combined with quality element qualify and sensitivity index and ignore some functional elements that cannot feed passengers’ needs.Finally,this study can produce subway passengers’ compartment plan.Based on national situation,this study provides reasonable advice about optimizing on national subway passengers’ compartment according to the survey of the passengers’ needs and has produced a relatively complete design reference schem e,which contributes to the development of the present subway passengers’ compartment design and raising the quality of passengers’ experience.
