In recent years,with the continuous acceleration of China’s urbanization process and the continuous improvement of the holding rate of private cars,the urban road traffic network is facing great pressure.Due to the rapid growth of the number of urban vehicles and the difficulty of widening the roads,traffic congestion occurs from time to time,which brings inconvenience to people’s work and life and arouses widespread concern of the society.In view of traffic congestion,the traditional traffic signal timing control methods,such as timing control and induction control,have defects.The former has poor flexibility and can not adapt to the traffic conditions with rapid changes in traffic flow;The latter has poor real-time and coordination,which is easy to cause local congestion of urban road network.Therefore,using modern intelligent control means to optimize traffic signal timing control is particularly important.Based on the basic theory of multi-agent technology,this thesis studies the urban traffic signal optimal timing system,and analyzes the main methods of existing traffic signal optimal control and the factors affecting traffic fluency.Aiming at the signal timing control of urban road network intersection,a multi-objective optimization control model is established.According to the characteristics and control requirements of the optimization model,the artificial fish swarm algorithm is improved and applied to the optimization of the timing optimization model;Aiming at the intersection of arterial roads with high urban correlation,a coordinated control optimization method of arterial green wave belt based on multi-agent technology is proposed.In this method,all intersections in urban trunk roads are regarded as independent agents to form a multi-agent system.Using agent reinforcement learning algorithm and introducing agent mutual coordination mechanism,the phase coordination optimization of urban trunk road intersection is carried out.Finally,the urban road network signal timing optimization control simulation system is constructed,and through experimental simulation,it is verified that the signal timing optimization method proposed in this thesis can improve the vehicle traffic efficiency of urban road network and effectively alleviate the phenomenon of urban traffic congestion.
