In recent years,with the scale of port construction in China,the international and domestic ports are becoming increasingly competitive,and the average profit margin of the port industry has been declining year by year.In order to improve the port competitiveness,the research of port resource integration is highly valued by the business community,but the current research direction mainly focuses on the integration of external resources of enterprises,the internal resources integration of enterprises is relatively small,then whether the integration of internal resources can also enhance the port competitiveness,the integration process can take what effective measures can become the problem of this paper.Based on the theory of resource integration and related research at home and abroad,this paper makes a systematic analysis of Lianyunport Port Co.,Ltd.’s operation status,competitive situation and port development strategy positioning by using SWOT analysis,value chain analysis,data analysis and comparative analysis.Finally,according to the comparative analysis of the performance indicators of port enterprises before and after the internal resources integration,it is proved whether the measures taken in the process of integration achieve the desired goal and whether the internal resource integration is conducive to improving the competitiveness of port enterprises.Through the study of this paper,the following research conclusions are obtained:(1)In order to promote the development of ports,Lianyungang Port Company to adopt internal resource integration is feasible and necessary;(2)The resource integration and overall deployment measures of Oriental Port Branch can support the sustainable development of Lianyungang Port Company;(3)By studying the use of human resources,machinery,berths and other production resources before and after the port integration,as well as the comparative analysis of production indicators such as loading and unloading efficiency,operating cost and operating profit,it is concluded that the internal resource integration of enterprises can enhance the competitiveness of port enterprises.
