Research On The Characteristics Of Foreign Architectural Design Firms’ Architectural Practice In Changsha From 1978 To 2020

Since the reform and opening up,more and more foreign firms have entered Chinese cities to carry out architectural design practice.Foreign firms,as one of the key roles in China’s urbanization process,have brought a huge impact on China’s architectural design in the process of design practice because of their differences with Chinese architects in ideology,practice mode and educational background.With the deepening of China’s reform and opening up,the architectural design market of foreign firms has expanded from the original Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou,Tianjin and other cities to other inland areas.As an important city in China’s interior,Changsha has experienced the destruction of the city in the past,and has shown great inclusiveness to foreign architectural d esign.The practice of foreign investment offices in Changsha has developed rapidly,showing a certain demonstration effect.Therefore,how to respond appropriately to the practice of foreign investment firms in China is a subject that needs to be paid att ention to at present.Based on this,in the face of changsha large foreign firms and the amount of design work,based on the research on the basis of a large number of literature and achievements at home and abroad,combined with field surveys and intervie ws to obtain original data of foreign architectural practice in changsha,in changsha,foreign firms and architectural design practice works as the research object,Starting with the general situation of the practice of foreign investment firms in China,t his paper analyzes the vertical development process of the practice of foreign investment firms in Changsha from 1978 to 2020 based on the characteristics of The Times,and analyzes the diachronic evolution characteristics of the practice of foreign invest ment firms in Changsha.Through quantifying practice data and data visualization,the spatial distribution characteristics of foreign firms and their practice works are analyzed.Then through the quantitative comparison between the creative practice of foreign firms in Changsha and the local architectural design practice in Changsha,the paper further analyzes the correlation between the practice of foreign firms and the local architectural practice as well as the development trend of foreign firms.The research conclusions of this paper can be divided into the following three aspects.First of all,this study summarizes the diachronic characteristics and internal driving factors of the practice development of foreign affairs offices in Changsha by sorting out the overall context of the practice of foreign affairs offices in Changsha from the perspectives of urban planning,public buildings and residential buildings.Secondly,this paper combines objective data to carry out quantitative statistics and comparative analysis,and describes the spatial distribution characteristics of the architectural practice works of foreign firms in Changsha from multiple perspectives,including the distribution characteristics of the country source,the number of works,the type of works,the regional distribution characteristics of works and the spatio-temporal correlation characteristics of works.Again,depends on the development of changsha foreign firm practice stage,for high-rise office buildings,culture,entertainment,commercial building three major types of practice compared with local architectural design practice,and from the angles of design collaboration and development main body,depth analysis the correlation of the practice of foreign firms and local architectural practice characteristic;Finally,through the vertical development process and the overall characteristics of the horizontal summed up the practice of foreign firms on Changsha’s urban image,architectural industry,urban life impact.In order to provide academic reference for the practice of foreign firms in China.
