The Modern Architectural Research Of Changsha Under The Cross-cultural Communication Perspective

As a famous historical and cultural city,Changsha has a long history and unique architectural culture.Since modern times,the traditional architecture of Changsha began to change gradually under the influence of foreign architectural culture.In this paper,the research of modern architecture in Changsha is based on the perspective of cross-cultural communication.Under the research fruits of cross-cultural communication,there was a deep research on the way?the pattern and the motivation of foreign architectural culture spread in Changsha.In the study of this paper,the spread of foreign architectural culture in Changsha is divided into three stages:The first stage is 1904-1949.During this period,the foreign architectural culture,especially the western culture,spread quickly in Changsha by a variety of transmission way,and influenced the traditional cities and buildings greatly.By analyzing the evolution process of architecture and the modern urban change,summary the characteristic ? factor ? motivation and the adjustment of modern architecture of Changsha which is influenced by western culture.The second stage is from 1949 to the early of 1960 s.Because of the influence of the political,Chinese architecture was fully under the influence of the architectural culture of the Soviet Union.In the boom of study to the Soviet Union,the architecture in Changsha is no exception.During this period,Changsha had built a large number of constructions with time characteristics.The third stage is from 1978 to the late of 1990 s.Since reform and opening up,A variety of Architectural thoughts came in and started a new round of spreading in Changsha.There were four kinds of trends in Changsha: Modernism?Post Modernism?Revivalism tendency and Contemporary of modern architecture.Under the new historical conditions,the cross-cultural communication of foreign architectural presents new propagation characteristics.In the three stages,the first stage is the "modern" period in the paper and the main research part of this paper;the second and the third stages are the "contemporary" period.In the 21 st century,the world enters the era of globalization,cultural transmission presents new characteristics.The spread of foreign architectural culture in modern time provided reference for the development of contemporary architecture in Changsha and then constructed development paradigms of Architecture in Changsha under the context of globalization.
