Comprehensive Evaluation Of Built Environment Of Chaozong Street Historic District In Changsha

As China’s urbanization advancement speeding up further,China’s urban development is gradual transition from the incremental expansion into stock update time.Because of its own historical deposits and location advantages,historical districts have attracted the attention of urban development and related research fields.However,the preservation and renewal of historic districts are also faced with many proble ms and crises,such as the imbalance between cultural inheritance and urban development,the contradiction between excessive commercialization and social culture,and so on.In this context,it has become a trend to evaluate and study the protection of his toric blocks.The preservation and renewal of the historic district is a dynamic development process,and the evaluation of its protection effect and built environment is beneficial to the long-term development of the historic district.As a famous national historical and cultural city,Changsha is rich in historical and cultural heritage.Chaozong Street is the second historical block identified after Taiping Street.The organic renewal project of Chaozong Street historical block was launched in June 2018,and the related construction has been basically completed by the end of 2019.This paper intends to conduct a comprehensive evaluation and research on the current built environment state of Chaozong Street Historic District,summarize the problems existing in the district,so as to summarize the problems existing in the district and put forward the corresponding optimization strategies.Based on the materiality,spirituality and sociality of space,this paper adopts the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)to construct the comprehensive evaluation index system of the built environment of Chaozong Street Historical District,which takes the material environment,cultural environment and social environment as the core indexes.After that,the author uses yaahp aux iliary software to construct the hierarchical structure model of the evaluation index system,and carries on the weight value to the evaluation index of each level through the expert consultation.Finally,combined with118 public questionnaires,the comprehensive score of the built environment of Chaozong Street Historic District and the scores of various evaluation indexes are obtained.The evaluation results show that under the setting of a total score of 5 points,the comprehensive score of the built en vironment of Chaozong Street historical block is 3.7829,indicating that the overall built environment of the block is good.The scores of three core indicators are as follows: physical environment(4.0109)> cultural environment(3.5158)> social environm ent(3.2014).In addition,the author conducts a horizontal comparative analysis of the evaluation index scores of each level,summarizes the main problems existing in the current built environment of the block,and proposes optimization suggestions.Through comprehensive evaluation and research on the built environment of Chaozong Street Historic Block in Changsha City,this paper makes up the existing research blank of Chaozong Street Historic Block,and provides certain reference and guiding significance for the follow-up protection and renewal of this block and the evaluation of other historical blocks.At the same time,the paper divides the built environment of historical blocks into physical environment,cultural environment and social environment,and calls for the future research,protection and renewal of historical blocks to pay attention to the material elements of historical blocks,but also strengthen the emphasis on cultural,social and other recessive characteristics.
