Research On Comprehensive Evaluation System Of Public Communication Space In Historic District

Recently,a few of historic districts in our country have poor neighborhood association.Commu nication spaces had lost its attraction to residents and their communication activities.Although,some historic districts’ environment had been reformed, but the desired effect hadn’t been ach ieved.Academia have carried out extensive studies on communication activities and spaces in histori c districts, but most of the studies are focus on public space or open space. Physical features of public spaces are emphasized,and the importance of communication activities is ignored b y misunderstanding the definition of public space.At the same time, most of renovation strategies for communication spaces of historic district s are based on subjective experience or some theoretical experience.But those experience is al ways used on urban public space design generally.The characters of the historic district is disa ppearing.Based on the problems aboved,the concept of public communication spaces in historic distric ts and comprehensive evaluation system of the space will be put forward in this study to help us understand the characters of public communication spaces in historic districts comprehensi vely and objectively.It also can guide historic district renewal.Research is divided into six chapters.The contents of the first chapter include research backgr ound,research purposes,research methods,research framework.The contents of the second cha pter include the rethinking of communication spaces in historic districts.The characters and cl assification of communication spaces will be put forward.The contents of the third chapter include related evaluation system recently and its analysis.The contents of the forth chapter is fo cus on building the comprehensive evaluation system.Instance analysis will be carried out in t he fifth chapter.And conclusions will be summed up in the final chapter.
