The application of information technology represented by intelligence and network in vehicle puts forward new requirements for the design of vehicle warning display.On the one hand,the application scenarios of vehicles are becoming more and more complex,which makes the content of the warning information transmitted by vehicle warning display to users more abundant and diversified.On the other hand,with the continuous improvement of interactive technology and equipment performance,current users’ demands for vehicle warning display are no longer limited to its basic safety and efficiency,but are developing towards higher demands such as comfort and experience.At the same time,under the unprecedented opportunity of rapid development of human-computer interaction technology,the human-vehicle interaction based on multiple sensory modalities has great potential,which is an important trend in the development of human-vehicle interaction.Therefore,human-vehicle interaction based on multiple sensory modalities is introduced into the design of vehicle warning display in this thesis,so as to help to carry out the design of vehicle warning display.In this thesis,firstly,we carried out theoretical research and describe the basic theories of sensory modality and vehicle warning display.It includes the physiological basis and sensory modality of obtaining information,the development and classification of vehicle display,the display type and design principle of vehicle warning display,and the evaluation methods and indicators of vehicle warning display design,etc.Then,based on theoretical research,we constructed a model of vehicle warning display design and evaluation based on multiple sensory modalities,in order to provide theoretical and methodical guidance for designers of vehicle warning display design and evaluation.After that,We carried out the practical application of the design and evaluation model,and carried out the design evaluation experiment of vehicle warning display based on multiple sensory modalities based on the design and evaluation model.Finally,based on the conclusions of evaluation experiments,we conducted design practice to optimize the vehicle warning display based on multiple sensory modalities.Based on theoretical research,case study and project practice,this thesis constructed design and evaluation model of vehicle warning display based on multiple sensory modalities,which can help designers to carry out design practice and design evaluation.In terms of theoretical research,the model provided a relatively comprehensive knowledge framework and knowledge base for design and evaluation,and provided theoretical guidance for designers to design and evaluate vehicle warning display.In terms of practice,the design model can help designers to analyze the design requirements,generate,select,compare and decide the design scheme,so as to guide the designers to complete the preliminary design proposal efficiently.The evaluation model can provide guidance for designers to choose appropriate evaluation methods and indicators during the design evaluation process,so as to help designers to complete design evaluation and optimization more effectively. |
