Application Of Wireless Bluetooth Technology In Civilian Smart Meters

Since the reform,China’s national economy and social production have continued to develop.With the continuous improvement of the people’s living standards,more and more electricity and electrical appliances are used and enriched in the family.As for the electric power sector,with the increasing demand for the intellectualization of power grid,it is required that the electric power sector be able to grasp the electricity demand and electricity consumption habits of each user comprehensively,so as to better regulate the scheduling of power resources.For the common use of electricity users,it is required to have a convenient interface,to query the use of electricity,convenient payment,unified management of household appliances.In view of this,the concept of intelligent meter emerges as the times require.In order to achieve the above objectives,the smart meter needs to improve the communication interface to meet the requirements of the electrical connection.At present,the common communication interfaces include Ethernet,Wi Fi and so on,but they can not meet the connection requirements of the embedded devices with power consumption requirements.Because Bluetooth device has low power consumption and strong anti-interference ability,it can provide excellent wireless communication services for smart grid.The application of wireless Bluetooth communication system in intelligent meter is studied in this paper.The wireless Bluetooth communication system is used to connect the smart meter and household appliances.It can return the electricity information of household appliances to the power grid,providing a possibility for intelligent control of smart grid.This paper expounds the differences in smart meters and traditional meter and its advantages;according to the basic knowledge and theory of intelligent power meter,combined with computer and communication technology and communication system technology theory,introduces the basic content and connotation of communication system in the smart meter;compared with Wi Fi and Zig Bee wireless communication technology,the communication technology in smart grid the wireless Bluetooth technology,driven by the hardware and software of wireless Bluetooth technology to introduce the characteristics,development status,smart meter.The transplantation of Bluetooth driver based on Linux operation system is studied,and a wireless Bluetooth system based on Linux operation system is developed successfully.The experiment proves that the Bluetooth communication system can work normally,and the cell phone can be connected to it by Bluetooth.The throughput of the Bluetooth module in smart meter is about 200 Kbps,which can meet the needs of most smart home.Compared with the Wi Fi system in the intelligent meter,the Bluetooth system has the advantages of low cost and low power consumption.
