With the increasing development of underground space in China, underground space has become a new growth pole of urban space.Relevant data show that in recent years, the incidence of malignant criminal incidents in the underground space of the city has been rising, and the safety problem of underground space in the subway station area has become increasingly prominent. However, women account for a large proportion of the victims of the cases, and women are faced with a relatively lack of security. This study from the perspective of nocturnal young female security, reference architecture and the related literature at home and abroad in the field of environmental psychology and other disciplines, combination of nocturnal psychological security needs of the female,in Shanghai, guangzhou, nanjing, hangzhou and suzhou five big city as the research scope, explore the subway station domain underground space environment factors impact on the security mechanism,Based on this, some suggestions are put forward to optimize the design of underground space in the metro area. This study provides a basis for the optimization design of underground space in subway stations.Firstly, taking some subway stations in Suzhou as research objects, through the combination of field research, voluntary shooting and interview questionnaire, the safety perception of young women walking at night is understood, and the environmental factors that affect their sense of security are screened preliminarily. Then, the subway station images of Nanjing,Hangzhou and Suzhou were used as security scores to determine the influencing factors of platform space and corridor space security. Then, based on Nanjing,Hangzhou and Suzhou, the image collection in Shanghai and Guangzhou is added. Finally,in the formal experimental stage,240 images of underground space in subway stations in 5 cities were selected to form formal experimental materials, and 50 subjects rated the sense of security of each space through the way of immersive experience of photos and images.A multivariate linear regression model with the sense of security as the dependent variable and each environmental factor as the dependent variable was established, and the spatial factors significantly affecting the sense of security in the platform and the channel were obtained respectively.Studies show that the height of the glass door, the width of the platform, signs, sight penetration and light environment in the platform space are positively correlated with the sense of security. In the channel space, channel length, color environment, channel aspect ratio, material reflectance and light environment are positively correlated with the sense of security.Based on the analysis results, this paper further proposes design suggestions for these environmental elements,so as to form a women-friendly space environment for the subway station.
