| As the first group of aging cities in China,Suzhou still lacks the construction of age-suitable space, and it is difficult to build new public space for the elderly. At present, there are still many Spaces with low utilization rate.If such Spaces can be used according to the needs and behavioral characteristics of the elderly, the functional configuration of the elderly can be optimized and improved to maximize the benefits of the elderly.Based on the needs of the elderly, this paper selects the severely aging areas in Gusu District of Suzhou City for investigation, selects the potential surplus space in the study area, analyzes the factors affecting the spatial potential from multiple dimensions, establishes the residual space potential evaluation model on this basis, summarizes the existing problems and puts forward optimization suggestions.First of all,by reviewing the previous studies on the design for the aged and the use of surplus space, the concept of the design for the aged and the use of surplus space is sorted out,and the design methods for the aged and the use of surplus space are summarized.Based on the analysis of the physiological needs and activity behaviors of the elderly, this paper summarizes the needs of public space for the elderly, and puts forward the construction of space for the elderly by using potential resources. Then the research area is defined and the scope of the remaining space in the research area is defined. Finally, the distribution and specific location of the remaining space in the study area were obtained through field research, and the types of the remaining space were divided and the availability of the remaining space was summarized.Secondly,in order to judge the degree of residual space utilization potential, the residual space potential evaluation model was established.Through three rounds of index screening and optimization, including big data keyword and literature sorting, survey and interview, and expert revision, the evaluation index of residual space potential was determined.A total of 10 indicators were selected from four levels, namely, spatial location, spatial interface, spatial physical environment and social interaction. To determine the evaluation method of index weight, weight data were collected from sentiment analysis, questionnaire survey and expert scoring, and the comprehensive weight of the index was calculated after sorting out the weight scoring data.Determine the evaluation method and grade division of residual space potential; Thus, the residual space potential evaluation model is established. Finally, according to the established residual space potential evaluation model, the residual space that has been screened initially is evaluated. The scoring standard of each index was defined, the data and performance of each index of each surplus space were obtained, and the potential of surplus space was calculated through the residual space potential evaluation model. Then the existing problems of the remaining space are summarized and analyzed through the results of field research and potential evaluation. From the overall remaining space environment,it proposes a simple space function design, the promotion of service facilities for the elderly, the infiltration design to soften the space boundary, the three-dimensional greening in the development space, the participation of multiple subjects in the construction, and the definition of management and maintenance responsibilities.Based on the evaluation results of residual space potential, the paper puts forward the key utilization and moderate optimization of high-potential space. The middle and high potential space is utilized according to demand, and part of it is transformed; The low potential space is temporarily not used, and the use of elastic reservation is suggested. |
