| Intersection is the bottleneck of urban traffic congestion.In addition to the traditional way to alleviate traffic congestion,the domestic method is to set waiting area at intersection.At present,there are more and more cities and points with waiting-area for through vehicles at intersections,but there is still a lack of systematic theoretical research on the setting mechanism of waiting-area for through vehicles,and there are many problems in practical application.In order to solve this problem,this paper proposes a theoretical study on the setting mechanism of the lanes with waiting-area for through vehicles.This paper starts from the actual traffic operation characteristics of intersections with waiting-area for through vehicles,analyzes the reasons,significance and setting conditions of waiting-area for through vehicles,provides reference for practical application.In addition,this paper fully considers the influence of stop line moving forward on the calculation of signal control related parameters,optimizes the signal control setting mode of intersections with waiting-area for through vehicles,and improves the calculation method of loss time and clearing time.Based on the calculation of the capacity by the stop line method,the capacity model of intersection entrance road with waiting-area for through vehicles is constructed to quantify the influence of waiting-area for through vehicles on the traffic efficiency.Next,the video recognition software is used to extract the traffic trajectory and coordinate transformation of the example intersection,and the vehicle trajectory is smoothed and supplemented;combined with the actual state of vehicle operation,from the vehicle trajectory,the operating characteristics of the waiting area are analyzed and the traffic parameter values are obtained,which ensures the practical significance of the model results.Finally,the traffic simulation software is used to verify the model results,and the conclusion is that the traffic parameters obtained by video recognition can basically reflect the real results,and the constructed capacity model has high accuracy in simulating the real situation.In view of the optimization effect of waiting-area for through vehicles on the lane,the optimization effect of the waiting area is weak when it is too short,and it should be set to the maximum length as far as possible when conditions permit. |
