At present,most of the intersections in the city are equipped with non-motorized waiting areas to separate non-standby traffic.Common types include ordinary forms,non-motorized parking lines in advance,and non-motorized waiting area facilities in the form of BOX.Reduce machine non-conflict,but there are few studies on the effectiveness of three forms,and what kind of form is chosen for different road conditions and traffic flow characteristics(machine non-traffic volume,large car ratio,electric vehicle ratio)Non-motorized waiting areas to reduce machine non-conflict are not further explained.In this paper,the conflict between the right-turning motor vehicle and the straight-through non-motor vehicle at the signalized intersection is taken as the research object.Considering the setting characteristics of different non-motorized waiting areas,select the typical signalized intersections with different waiting areas,and determine the investigation plan for on-the-spot investigation.And data collection,and then use the traffic conflict identification algorithm to use TTC as the discriminant index to identify the non-collision of the machine,and use the 85%-bit cumulative curve analysis method to define the threshold of traffic conflict,and obtain the non-conflict degree criterion of the machine.That is,when 0s ? TTC ? 1.1s,it is a serious conflict.When 1.1s ? TTC ? 2.7s,it is a general conflict.When TTC ? 2.7s,it is considered not to constitute a conflict.It provides data support for the research on the mechanism of non-collision generation in different non-motorized areas and the construction of non-conflict prediction models.Secondly,it analyzes the impact of the proportion of total conflicts in serious conflicts in different forms of waiting areas,and proves that the effects of different forms of waiting areas on the non-conflict severity are not significantly different.Based on the conflict time distribution characteristics in the signal period,the mechanism of non-conflict generation in different forms of waiting area is studied.The results show that the mechanism of non-collision in different forms of waiting area is different.Using the conflict rate as the evaluation index,the variance analysis of the conflict rates under the three waiting areas is carried out.The results show that the different non-motorized waiting areas have different effects on the non-conflict.In addition,a simple linear relationship analysis of the non-conflicting factors of other machines at the intersection shows that there is a correlation between right-turn motor vehicle traffic,direct non-motor vehicle traffic,large car ratio,and electric vehicle ratio.Thirdly,based on the Bayesian method,a regression model of negative binomial distribution and a regression model of random effects negative binomial distribution considering different non-motorized waiting areas are established.The model is evaluated for goodness of fit and validity.The results show that the negative binomial distribution regression model considering the random effects of different non-motorized areas has a better fitting effect.The elastic analysis of the influencing factors shows that under the premise of other influencing factors,the traffic volume of right-turning motor vehicles increases by 1%,the non-traffic conflict increases by 0.44%;the traffic volume of direct-moving non-motor vehicles increases by 1%.The traffic conflict increased by 0.49%;the waiting area of the non-motorized parking line in advance form can effectively reduce the non-conflict of 35.9%;the non-motorized parking line in the form of BOX can effectively reduce the non-conflict of 49.3% in advance;Increase by 1%,increase the non-conflict of 1.5% of the machine;increase the proportion of electric vehicles by 1%,increase the non-conflict of 0.644%.Finally,the number of non-traffic conflicts is used as the evaluation index of the safety level of different non-motorized areas.K-means cluster analysis method is adopted,and the AIC criterion is used as the clustering model criterion.The safety level is divided into four levels.A description of the safety level is given for each level.Combined with the non-traffic conflict prediction model,the method of selecting the setting form of the non-motorized waiting area at the signalized intersection is finally given.Then the case study is carried out,and the selection process of the non-motorized waiting area at the signalized intersection is given.In this paper,the non-conflict generation mechanism,the non-conflict prediction model of the non-motorized area,and the setting method of the non-motorized waiting area are studied.The research results can provide reference and basis for the design and improvement of nonmotorized waiting area facilities at signalized intersections.
