| On-street parking(Berth parking and temporary parking)effectively alleviates the parking demand problem,but most of them occupy non-motorized lanes,and cyclists choose to cross or stop because of the reduced driving space,as a result,non-motor vehicles are prone to traffic conflicts with surrounding vehicles.The conflict not only affects the efficiency of the non-motor vehicle,but also increases the hidden danger of the non-motor vehicle.In this paper,non-motor vehicles in the on-street parking area are taken as the research object,and combined with the traffic conflict theory,the influencing factors of non-motor vehicles participating in the traffic conflict are explored,it provides a theoretical basis for reducing traffic conflict,improving the safety of non-motor vehicles and optimizing the design and management of on-street parking.Firstly,the characteristics of two types of on-street parking are introduced,and the traffic conflicts involving non-motor vehicles in on-street parking areas are defined,the TTC is determined as the conflict discrimination index.Secondly,according to the difference of parking types in the parking area,the author chooses Chengdu General Zongfu Road(temporary parking),Qianfeng road(temporary parking + parking space)and Huayou road(parking space)for video recording and manual investigation.The vehicle trajectory and TTC data were collected by the Tracker,and the different TTC thresholds of collision of rear-end collision and lane change were determined.Thirdly,based on literature review and field survey data,16 influencing factors were selected from three aspects: traffic flow characteristics,parking characteristics and non-motor vehicle composition characteristics,the 60% percentile of traffic conflict number is used as the critical value of whether non-motor vehicle is safe or not,the binary logistic regression model was used to identify the significant influencing factors of traffic conflict in three parking areas,and the regression model was tested.Finally,according to the significant impact factors,status quo and problems of traffic conflicts in each of the three on-street parking areas,the paper puts forward the on-road parking management and design optimization schemes in the corresponding areas;the results of Vissim simulation show that the number of 5min conflicts in the optimized roads decreased from 54 to 39,from 9 to 3,from 8 to 4,respectively. |
