Building glass curtain wall,as the common outer envelope,is a place with more energy loss compared with wall,roof and other parts,and also a key part to improve the building energy conservation level.Building energy conservation plays an important role in reducing China’s total energy consumption,so it is imperative to strengthen the implementation of building energy conservation technology.In-depth study of the thermal performance of the glass curtain wall,mastering the thermal performance mechanism of the glass curtain wall and its active application can greatly improve the energy-saving level of the building.In this paper,the thermal performance of glass curtain wall is analyzed based on building thermal engineering and “Green Building Evaluation Standards”,and the thermal performance of insulating glass for glass curtain wall,the structural form of glass curtain wall and the type of insulating glass spacer strip are studied and analyzed.The analysis results can effectively guide the energy-saving optimization design of glass curtain wall.The thickness of glass,the number and position of low radiation coating structure are important factors affecting the insulating glass of glass curtain wall.In this paper,the thermal performance of insulating glass with different thickness,different structure of low radiation coating surface and different position of low radiation coating surface is simulated and analyzed by Windows software.It is found that the K value,SC and Tvis values of the insulating glass are basically linear with the thickness of the glass,but with the increase of the thickness of the two single pieces of glass,the K value of the insulating glass decreases,but the decrease range is smaller.For three-glass and two-chamber hollow glass,in order to improve its thermal insulation performance,the film surface of two single Low-E glass should not face the same gas barrier layer;in hot summer area,the Low-E film layer should be arranged on the second and fourth sides to obtain the best shading performance;in severe cold and cold areas,the Low-E film layer should be arranged on the third and fifth sides to better reduce the heating energy consumption in winter.The cross-section width of the heat insulation strip,the structure of the glass curtain wall and the type of insulating glass spacer will affect the heat transfer coefficient of the glass curtain wall node and the overall curtain wall.The K value of the joint can be reduced effectively by using the aluminum alloy profile of the thermal insulation broken bridge for the glass curtain wall,but with the increase of the section width of the thermal insulation strip,the K value of the joint will be reduced.Compared with the open frame curtain wall,the K value of the node of the hidden frame curtain wall is lower and the heat preservation effect is better.The insulating glass warm edge spacing strip can effectively reduce the joint line heat transfer coefficient and the overall K value of the curtain wall,also can well improve the temperature of the indoor side glass edge position,and reduce the occurrence of indoor side condensation.Combined with the analysis and research of the thermal performance of the glass curtain wall,the energy-saving optimization design of the horizontally concealed vertical curtain wall system in a curtain wall project in Shandong was carried out,and the structural form was designed reasonably,and different glass configurations were adopted.Through the simulation calculation of thermal software,the overall heat transfer coefficient of glass curtain wall with different glass configurations is compared and analyzed,and the optimal configuration is determined so that the overall heat transfer coefficient meets the technical requirements of the two-star green building.
