Dawenkou Culture is the origin of Chinese civilization,which has prominent social education significance in cultivating national confidence,witnessing historical civilization and promoting Chinese civilization.The protection and planning depth of Dawenkou Site need to be further explored.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,General Secretary Xi attaches great importance to cultural self-confidence,emphasizes the improvement of site archaeological and site protection related work,so that the heritage displayed on the vast land ’ live ’.At the same time,the proposal of cultural and tourism integration provides a feasible path for the activation of cultural heritage.Taking this as an opportunity,this paper studies the landscape planning and design of Dawenkou Archaeological Site Park from the perspective of heritage activation,in order to explore the methods and implementation ways of heritage activation concept combined with landscape planning and design.Firstly,this paper reviews the concept of cultural heritage,sites,large sites and archaeological sites and the research progress of site protection at home and abroad,and summarizes the related concepts,types,zoning and landscape planning of archaeological site parks.At the same time,the method of heritage activation is studied,and the activation method is proposed from the two directions of ontology activation and tourist experience activation,and the landscape planning strategy is summarized with typical cases in China and abroad.Secondly,this paper takes the Dawenkou site as the research object for investigation and analysis.Through the research on the general situation of the site,the interpretation of the upper planning and the site cognition,the present situation of the site environmental conditions,regional environment and internal conditions are clarified,and the potential and shortcomings of the site are summarized through SWOT analysis.After that,the landscape planning and design strategies from the perspective of heritage activation are proposed from the perspectives of heritage activation,cultural and tourism integration and rural revitalization.Planning suggestions are put forward from the aspects of style control,landscape structure,functional zoning,traffic organization and node design,and a comprehensive and special elaboration is made on the protection and display system,plant landscape design,landscape sketch design and display service facilities,which points out the direction for the landscape planning and design of the core area of Dawenkou Archaeological Site Park later.Finally,according to the guidance of landscape planning strategy,the landscape planning and design of Dawenkou Archaeological Site Park were studied.The cultural elements of Dongyi tribe ’ s bird worship and sun worship were extracted from Dawenkou cultural pottery and bird-shaped pottery.The theme of “ sunrise helping mulberry and walking strangers ” was determined.The design concept of “ protection,display and symbiosis ” was adopted to extract the five groups of landscape textures of water,living,field,tomb and interval in the site,and overlay them to put into a new landscape function space,forming a unique site landscape environment with Dawenkou cultural characteristics.At the same time,the six functional partitions of the site museum area,archaeological research area,farming experience area,protection display area,historical landscape area and the Dawenhe River ecological area are designed in detail,and the scheme is elaborated from the special design of heritage activation and vertical design,plant planning,etc.,which activates the cultural value of the Dawenkou site.
