| In the development trend of green and low-carbon transportation,the simple,safe and efficient intersection traffic control mode is gradually attracting people’s great attention,and the traffic safety management is changing from extensive to refinement.Stop sign control is a traffic control method applied to unsignalized intersections.This control method has no power consumption,is green and environment-friendly,and is convenient for public security law enforcement.The implementation of the stop sign control requires the scientific setting of the corresponding traffic control devices.However,at present,in the setting of the stop traffic control devices,the provisions in the relevant standards and specifications in China are more principled and not detailed enough,which brings inconvenience to the implementation of the stop sign control and the setting of stop traffic control devices in the actual work,and affects the control effect to a certain extent.On the basis of combing the existing specifications,this paper further studies and refines the setting of stop traffic control devices at intersections,and designs the auxiliary system for setting stop traffic control devices to serve the actual battle of public security.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,based on the survey data,analyze the traffic characteristics and traffic accidents at unsignalized intersections,clarify the related information at unsignalized intersections,and provide basic support for the scientific setting of stop traffic control devices.Sort out the relevant provisions on the setting of stop traffic control devices in the national standard,fully grasp the relevant provisions on the setting principles,conditions and locations of stop traffic control devices,compare them with the relevant provisions of foreign countries,and clarify the parts that need to be further refined.Secondly,the problems that need to be refined are studied: by analyzing the relationship between the flow and conflict at unsignalized intersection,the flow curve with stop sign is determined.According to the theory of safe sight distance and acceptable gap of intersection,the setting position of stop line is optimized,and the calculation formula of setting position of stop line is given.Based on the detailed research results,under the guidance of system engineering theory and based on the needs of users,the auxiliary system for setting stop traffic control devices at intersections is designed: Based on the investigation and analysis of the actual combat needs of public security traffic management,the function of the system is determined and the functional module of the system is designed.The module function of the system is realized by constructing the judgment model of stop sign control at the intersection,and the whole system is programmed in C# language.Finally,the application process of the system is described with the actual case data,and the reliability of the system is verified by VISSIM simulation.The research of this paper is guided by the actual service,and the research results can directly serve the grass-roots public security work.By running the system designed in this paper,it can directly give whether the unsignalized intersection needs to adopt stop sign control and how to set up stop traffic control devices,which can greatly save the working hours of grass-roots public security traffic managers. |
