Research On Visual Form Imagination And Translation In Design Creation ——A Case Study Of Composite Materials Handicraft Design

With the development of science and technology,people improve the quality of life,the importance of design gradually emerged,simple and practical design has no longer meet the needs of people,people prefer in a practical also very artistic or distinctive innovative design,so contradiction also appeared: how designers without destroying design practical at the same time,give design art and novelty?This requires designers to study the psychology of customers,most of them view the sense of art,combined with psychological innovative thinking of design,at the same time,at the same time to use more scientific design methods to meet the needs of the public.Since ancient times,there are many design methods,but the design method to meet the development of the current era is the most suitable method.At present,the design method process is the design framework published by Carnegie Mellon University in the United States:six steps: definition,research,discovery,construction,refinement and reflection.This paper takes the comprehensive material handicraft design as an example to refine the discovery and construction in the design method,and changes to the easier imagination and translational research of ordinary people.In life,people will through vision,touch,hearing,fear and smell of things around,including the most frequent use is visual,and visual form refers to the eye perception of the outside things,all the design of the visual form,including comprehensive material handicraft design,so in the design,pay attention to the expression of visual form.However,the visual form in the design does not appear out of thin air,and the designers need to use innovative thinking from the origin,multidimensional and multi-level imagination,and then translate these imagination into the visual form.This paper combines design with psychology and rhetoric,and summarizes a set of design methods suitable for the initial design scheme.This design method can help designers to sort out the design logic and carry out more flexible thinking innovation.First of all,the designer calls previous experience and cognition of proposition,proposition as the origin of different dimensions,different,different length,different direction of divergent thinking,in order to avoid designer thinking too confusion or forget a thinking,need designers to draw a mind map,used to record each thinking.When the designer’s thinking frame is completed,it is necessary to translate it into a visual form.The translation process is a process of transforming the unknown form into a known form,so the thinking logic requirement of the designer is very rigorous.There are many methods of translation.In this paper,only some common translation methods,combining them with rhetoric and fuzzy rhetoric can make the translation results more artistic.In the end of the paper,the visual form has been reversed and verified,through the reverse thinking whether the visual form conforms to the design of the original frame of the thinking,and verify the shape,color,texture and imagination of the visual form,so as to prevent errors in the process of translation.The author successfully made the graduation design with theory and practice,and proved the feasibility of the design method studied in this paper.
