Under the complex global environment of global currency and COVID-19’s continuous fermentation,China’s manufacturing industry is facing enormous pressure and risks.From the perspective of enterprises,raw material prices continue to rise and remain at a high level,labor costs rise and consumption is weak.These factors have brought great problems to the manufacturing industry.On the one hand,we should optimize prices to maintain a certain market share in the weak consumer market.On the other hand,enterprises have high costs and lower profits.Major enterprises began to pay more attention to cost management,cost reduction and efficiency are emerging one after another.In order to gain a firm foothold in the market,the goal of enterprises is to invest less resources to improve the profit margin of enterprises.From the perspective of consumers,less income and lower sense of security reduce consumers’ consumption desire.Many people choose to reduce consumption level and reduce large expenditure,hoping to invest on a small scale to obtain goods with high value,and personalized and diversified product demand has become the main theme of consumers’ choice.In order to overcome the pain points in the current living environment,many companies choose to reform and innovate their own management mode and management concept,so as to reduce the company’s operating costs,enhance the company’s sustainable development potential,actively respond to the increasingly fierce market competition,and maintain competitiveness in this market.As an advanced production mode,lean manufacturing can abandon the disadvantages and defects in the tradition and realize high-quality and efficient manufacturing through market demand.Product design is also highly targeted and diversified,which is widely favored in production enterprises.Lean production has the advantages of effectively reducing waste in all links,improving the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises,effectively reducing enterprise costs and improving enterprise efficiency,which makes more and more enterprises choose the production mode of lean production.This paper first introduces the meaning of lean production mode,analyzes its outstanding characteristics,and then uses it into the production management of automobile manufacturer company,and analyzes its specific application.According to the door cover production line of automobile welding workshop of G company as an example,by studying the relevant knowledge of lean production in recent years,it is actually applied to the case to realize the lean improvement of various production lines.Through discussion and Research on the balance rate of production line,equipment management,visualization,flexibility and other aspects,the door cover production line of G company’s welding workshop is improved from the above aspects,so as to solve relevant problems,realize benefit improvement,and help G company improve its competitiveness.It is expected to provide an effective reference for the transformation,upgrading and future development of Chinese automobile production enterprises.
