China auto market has gradually become saturated after ten years rapid development,while the commercia market kept five years increasing against the trend.While the growth rate of the overall auto market has slowed down,now the auto companies have entered high-quality level development,they are all in strong competition,may drop sharply in sales if the company made wrong strategies.With the personalized needs of consumers and the short products lifetime,in order to get more market share,China auto manufacturers have to develop new technologies,adding rich configuration and to launch new models quickly to attract consumers.Auto parts are the foundation and strong supporting of the auto industry,the continuous innovation and rapid changing of vehicle technology,it will bring more requirements auto on technical level,quality management level,project development timing and production management level for auto suppliers.At the same time,the independent innovation of parts supplier has a strong driving force for industry development,they are interdependent and interactive.The market is huge for China auto industry,the commercial vehicle has developed rapidly due to the market economy and national strategies.With strong technical strength,H company has taken the opportunity of commercial vehicles rapid development in recent years and won engine parts business for new heavy-duty customer in 2019.It is complicated project which includes oil filter system,coolant system and controlling system,it is required to meet the China VI emission requirements and to be approved and start mass production within 14 months.However,according to current development procedure and previous experience,low efficiency of product development and long development time for H compony,which is difficult to meet such requirements of customer.For the short development timing project,how to complete the delivery on time with no quality issue,how to control project progress effective,and how to respond customer and exceed customer expectations,in order to strengthen marketing competitiveness,these problems need to be solved by H company in short time.Taking the heavy-duty parts project progress management of H company as the research object,this paper analyzed customer demands,problems in project development progress and their root cause from project development procedure,project progress management,quality management,communication management,etc.,and to solve the problems on project procedure solidification,project progress deviation,long lead time on tolling and assembly line development,long validation time,unclear communication and job description by using brainstorming method,progress grid technology,critical path method,fishbone diagram and other methods,finally,implemented successfully by good measures for project progress management.The first part is to introduce the research background and significance of this paper,also points out the market change of auto industry,vehicle emission requirements and the characteristics of short development time.H company must pay attention to project schedule control management to meet customer requirements,which reflects the research purpose of this paper.Then introduce the research status at home and abroad and methods,also introduces the concepts of project management and project development schedule management.The second part is the main body of the paper,which is also the key content of this paper.It aims to study the optimization of the development schedule management of the auto parts project.Firstly introduce H company,then analyzes the general situation and current situation of the project development,to find the existing problems and analyzes the causes,and formulates effective methods and plans for each problem,The effect of the optimized measures is evaluated and analyzed.The last part is the conclusion of the paper,which summarizes the full text,commends the achievements of project schedule management,and hopes that its optimization scheme can continue to be used for other project schedule management of H company and realize the development strategy of H company.The purpose is to enhance project team skills and importance of project development progress management by the paper research,and take project management methods and measures into other projects and other business units of the company,get customer satisficed and company prosper with high competitiveness by optimized project management procedure,shorten the product development timing,high quality and technologies,also plays a certain reference and guiding for the project development progress management of the auto parts industry.
