With the rapid development of the city,catering buildings are closely related to people’s life and adapt to the rapid pace of life in the city.The number of open Chinese restaurants is gradually increasing,and hall food has become an important dining form for people.In the past,most catering spaces focused on visual effects and ignored the quality of acoustic environment,which is also an important factor affecting people’s dining experience.The survey found that some Chinese restaurants have serious acoustic problems.This thesis investigates the current situation of the acoustic environment and visual environment of open Chinese restaurants,analyzes the influencing factors of the acoustic environment of restaurants,summarizes the acoustic materials and their visual performance effects that can be used to improve the acoustic environment,explores the influence law of various factors on restaurants,and puts forward the optimization design strategy of the acoustic environment taking into account the visual environment of restaurants,so as to provide reference for the design and transformation of the acoustic environment of restaurants.Firstly,the thesis investigates the current situation of visual and acoustic environment of112 open Chinese restaurants,and analyzes and summarizes the decoration characteristics of their space form,interface material,seat type,interface color matching and so on.The acoustic environment parameters and subjective evaluation of typical cases were measured on the spot.It was found that some restaurants had acoustic problems such as high sound pressure level,long reverberation time and low language definition,which affected the normal language communication and dining experience.Then,the acoustic characteristics,pattern and color performance of porous sound absorbing material,resonance sound absorption structure and space absorber are investigated.Summarize and analyze the acoustic,visual,fire protection and other characteristics of the existing commonly used acoustic materials,build and form an open Chinese restaurant optimization design material library,so as to provide a material basis for the acoustic environment transformation design in the future.Further,the application effect of architectural acoustic materials in different forms of open Chinese restaurants is analyzed,and the influence law of form,material and layout on the acoustic environment is discussed.According to the investigation results,the simulation models of 16 working conditions are established,including square plane with width length ratio of 1:1and 1:1 75、1:2.The ceiling includes flat type,well type,horizontal suspension type,vertical suspension type,etc.The above plane is combined with the ceiling to form various working conditions.Use ease software to simulate the relevant acoustic parameters such as sound pressure level,reverberation time and language clarity under various working conditions.It is found that among the effects of a single noise source,language communication sound source has the greatest impact.When only porous sound-absorbing materials or resonant soundabsorbing structures are used on the wall or ceiling,the reverberation time under various working conditions cannot reach the ideal value,but the improvement effect is better when the two are used in combination.The layout of sound-absorbing materials in the restaurant is further discussed.It is found that the decentralized layout of acoustic materials in the same area has better improvement effect.Comparing the improvement effect of reverberation time under different working conditions when the same sound-absorbing material has the same soundabsorbing area,it is found that the sound environment improvement effect is better when the ceiling material adopts suspension structure.Finally,according to the above conclusions,the optimization design strategy of restaurant space acoustic environment is proposed,including sound source design and interface material design.The sound source design is mainly considered from the aspects of reducing noise impact,managing humanistic sound sources and adding favorable sound sources.The interface design strategy mainly includes interface material selection strategy and interface material layout strategy.The sound environment of the open Chinese restaurant has been significantly improved and the diners at the same table can communicate normally.This paper studies the optimal design of the acoustic environment of open Chinese restaurants,which has certain reference value and guiding significance for the research and design of the acoustic environment of catering buildings and other open non performance buildings with dense crowds.
