In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s social economy,people’s material and spiritual and cultural living standards have been greatly improved,and the cultural and creative industry is gradually entering a new stage of development,and consumers’ requirements for the content and form of cultural and creative products are becoming more and more diversified.Therefore,it has become an important content of the further development of the cultural and creative market to deeply explore regional culture and empower cultural characteristics and creativity in cultural and creative products.Luoyang has a long history and rich regional cultural resources,which provides a broad space and opportunities for the dissemination and development of regional culture.In this context,regional culture and cultural and creative products are deeply integrated,and Luoyang Peony Culture Festival is taken as the object of applied research.Through literature collection,the regional culture and its characteristics,cultural and creative products and its characteristic concepts mentioned in the article are defined.This paper discusses the value of creating products based on regional culture as shaping urban brand,promoting cultural communication and promoting industrial transformation.At the same time,we should abide by the design principles of refining regional characteristics,exploring cultural charm and enhancing creative value,collect excellent cases for research and analysis,and learn from experience.Through field investigation,the current situation and predicament of Luoyang cultural and creative market are summarized,and the future development paths such as digging deep into cultural essence,enhancing functional value,innovating design concept and integrating brand IP are proposed,so as to follow the market development trend.The questionnaire method is adopted to analyze the demand of consumer groups for cultural and creative products and provide ideas for design practice.Through this research and practice,explore the regional cultural characteristics of Luoyang,and improve the shortcomings of Luoyang cultural and creative market.By shaping the cultural and creative brand image with Luoyang regional cultural characteristics,promote the promotion and development of Luoyang regional culture,improve the identification and influence of Luoyang culture,and provide reference for the integration and development of regional culture and cultural and creative product design.
