As early as 2000,China entered an aging society.In recent years,the elderly population has been growing rapidly.With the introduction of the two-child and three-child policy,it is more and more common for the elderly to take care of children in China.With the continuous development of society and the continuous progress of social civilization,people’s attention to the group of old and young is also constantly improving.At present,there are certain studies on residential,furniture and community construction in the joint life of the old and the young.As shopping is an indispensable part of life,there are few studies on the shopping behavior and rest space of the old and the young in large supermarkets.In order to let the old man and the child more healthy and comfortable life,to create a more suitable for the large supermarket shopping environment and better large supermarket shopping experience,the author intended for large supermarket shopping behavior of the old man and the children,all ages,by analyzing the demand for large supermarket leisure space,leisure space evaluation and analysis of the large supermarket,This thesis explores the design elements of the rest space of large supermarkets and explores the space improvement design through the above elements.This article selects the Beijing two more representative of the large supermarket,to field investigation,the large supermarket open space within the big supermarket on the old man and child tracking investigation,questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews with three methods,carding summed up shopping behavior patterns and consumer behavior and psychological characteristics,will be based on the physiological needs and psychological needs of young or old,The deficiencies of the rest space in large supermarkets are analyzed,and the design elements of the rest space in large supermarkets are explored based on the human-oriented space design theory.This thesis is divided into six parts.The first part firstly describes the existing social background,then summarizes and expounds the domestic and foreign literature,then expounds the research content,research framework and research methods of this thesis,and finally clarifies the purpose and significance of the research.The second part explains the concepts of the elderly and children,large supermarkets and rest space,and sort out the theoretical basis used in this thesis.Third part to the large supermarkets and open space has carried on the on-the-spot investigation,and then through the questionnaire survey analysis,SPSS investigation questionnaire and in-depth interviews,all ages,tease out shopping behavior patterns,old and young,psychological characteristics of consumption behavior,and then build a picture of the according to the characteristics of the user and select the typical object tracking investigation and analysis.The fourth part,based on the analysis of the shopping behavior of the old and the young in large supermarkets,expounds the demand of the old and the young for the rest space in large supermarkets,and then discusses the design of the rest space in large supermarkets based on the human-oriented space design theory.The fifth part expounds the human-oriented space design theory,analyzes the design elements of the rest space of large supermarkets,and designs the space environment from three aspects: the behavioral psychological elements of the old and young,the behavioral comfort elements and the perceptual comfort elements.The sixth part summarizes the conclusions and shortcomings of this thesis,as well as expectations for the rest space design of large supermarkets in the future.
