The rapid development of China’s infrastructure and the rapid development of urbanization have gradually revealed the deformed space in the city,and the attention of the country is gradually increasing for the space under the bridge as one of the categories of deformed space.The environmental problems faced in the under-bridge space need to be reasonably transformed and utilized,so that it no longer belongs to the abandoned and unused vacant land.For the problems of the space under the bridge itself can be felt that the city has not planned the reasonable use of some land resources in the development process.Based on the perspective of space transformation,this paper hopes that the construction of intelligent space can effectively improve a series of problems in the space under the bridge,explore more space resources to provide a new spatial environment for urban public space,and let the space under the bridge transform into an intelligent public space to enhance its space utilization.Through the relevant theoretical background of spatial cognition and the perspective of smart space,we explore the spatial transformation of under-bridge space in the sustainable development of the future smart city and other related research.Using the methods of fieldwork and case study induction,we firstly elaborate the relevant theories and concepts of smart city,summarize the desirability of smart city cases,and analyze the space under some elevated bridges in Wuhan through relevant theories and domestic and foreign cases,and organize the usable range of space under bridges.Then analyze the classification of under-bridge space,available forms and design principles,collect relevant domestic and foreign cases for analysis,and explore the design principles suitable for the project.Finally,we conducted field research on some viaducts in Wuhan,summarized the distribution and utilization of under-bridge space,the form of surrounding land use and the feasibility of space safety,and proposed suitable design solutions for the transformation application of under-bridge space.The space under the bridge site space for functional zoning,the use of big data,artificial intelligence and information network and other technical means of space transformation,so that the space under the bridge and the combination of intelligent space.Under-bridge space transformation allows the spatial environment to give full play to public participation and promotes the development of public space wisdom.On this basis,the interactive relationship between users and under-bridge space is re-explored,and the construction of under-bridge space is actively intervened to promote the communication and interaction between the public and under-bridge space environment,so that the space can better serve people.
