In order to study the changes of endogenous hormones and their contents during the flowering and fruiting process of Idesia polycarpa Maxim.,the five-year-old Chengdu provenance Idesia polycarpa Maxim.was used as the experimental material. From March to November,2018,the samples(buds, flowers, leaves and fruits)were sampled regularly, and the changes of endogenous hormones and their contents in different parts at different stages were detected by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).The main results are as follows:(1)The annual height growth and DBH growth of Idesia polycarpa Maxim.seeds are about 0.75-0.83 m and 1.08-1.2 cm respectively. The weight of buds and flowers of male plants is greater than that of female plants;4-26 is the initial flowering stage,5-1 enters the peak flowering stage and 5-6 is the falling flowering stage;the diameter and weight of fruits reach the maximum in early June, and the fruit may reach physiological maturity in early September.(2)Fruit soluble protein, soluble sugar and MDA content showed an“upward-downward” trend;fruit SOD and POD activity showed a“downward-upward” trend;fruit CAT activity showed an upward trend of "M".(3)IAA content of endogenous hormones in bud stage showed a trend of "descending-ascending-descending",and the content of male buds was higher than that of female buds;GA3 and t ZR content of female buds showed a trend of "descending",and GA3 and t ZR content of female buds were higher than that of male buds.(4)The four hormones changed steadily in the early stage of leaf development. From the first ten days of April,ABA content in female leaves showed an“upward-downward-upward” trend, but the variation was small;ABA content in male leaves showed an “upward-downward-upward-downward” trend;GA3,IAA and t ZR content in male and female leaves fluctuated greatly, mostly in an“upward-downward” trend.(5)From 4-26 to 5-6,IAA content in female flowers showed an“upward-downward” trend, while that in male flowers showed a “downward-upward”trend;ABA and t ZR content in male flowers and female flowers showed a “downward and upward” trend,respectively;GA3 content in male flowers showed an“upward-downward” trend and that in female flowers was an “upward” trend;GA3and t ZR content in female flowers were higher than that in male flowers.During the same period,IAA and ABA contents in flowers were higher than those in leaves. The t ZR/ABA ratio of female flowers was higher than that of male flowers, indicating that the increase of t ZR/ABA ratio contributed to the development of female flowers, the ratio of GA3/t ZR and IAA/t ZR of male flowers was higher than that female flowers, indicating that this ratio contributed to the development of male flowers.(6)IAA content in fruits showed a “downward” trend;ABA and GA3 contents showed a “downward-upward” trend;t ZR content in fruits showed a“downward-upward-downward” trend;at the same time, the contents of ABA and t ZR in fruits were higher than those in leaves;IAA content in leaves was higher than that in fruits;and the ratio of fruit(t ZR+GA3+IAA)/ABA showed a “upward-downward”trend,reaching its maximum at 5-26.The results of this study will provide some references for the study of the flowering and fruiting law of Idesia polycarpa Maxim.,provide some theoretical basis and practical guidance for the artificial regulation of the flowering and Fruiting of Idesia polycarpa Maxim.,and also provide some basis for the study of molecular mechanism of the flowering and Fruiting of Idesia polycarpa Maxim..
