| In this paper,corn seed(cv.Nonghua 836),wheat seed(cv.Jimai 22)and rice seed(cv.Yuenong Simiao)were used as experimental materials,and seed liquid fertilizer(rich in N、P、K、Mg、Zn、B、Mn、Fe、Cu,etc.)was chosen as the experimental fertilizers.Seed germination and seedling growth of corn,wheat and rice with treatments of soaking,dressing and spray coating of seeds with different liquid seed fertilizer concentrations was studied.The purpose of this test was to find the most suitable dilution concentration for liquid seed fertilizers and to select the best application method for seed fertilizers.The results were as follows:Seeds of maize,wheat and rice were soaked for 8h,6h and 12 h after dilution with 200-2000 times of seed fertilizer,which was showed to increase the plant height,the fresh weight,the dry weight,the phosphorus and zinc accumulation of corn,wheat and rice seedlings.In addition,these treatments were also indicated to increase the total root length,the root surface area and the root volume of corn,wheat and rice,thereby improving the absorption capacity of the seedling roots and laying a good foundation for the growth and stability of the seedling stage;Furthermore,these treatments significantly increased the germination index,the vigor index 1,the vigor index 2 and simplified the vigor index of corn,wheat and rice seeds,notably shortening the germination time of seeds.Overall,the optimal dilution ratios for corn,wheat,and rice seed soaking were 800 times,500 times and 800 times,respectively.After dressing corn and wheat at concentrations of 1:333-1:2000 and 1:200-1:1000,it demonstrated that the plant height,the fresh weight,the dry weight,the phosphorus accumulation and zinc accumulation of corn and wheat seedlings were all increased.These treatments also increased the total root length,the root surface area and the root volume of corn and wheat,thus to increase the absorption capacity of seedling roots,and build up good foundations for the growth of seedling stage.However,the treatment had no significant effect on the germination index,the germination potential and the germination rate of corn and wheat seeds.Taken together,the optimal concentrations of corn and wheat seed dressings were 1:400 and 1:600,respectively.After spraying and coating with the liquid fertilizers at a concentration of 1:200-1:2000 and 1:200-1:1000 respectively,the plant height,the fresh weight,the dry weight,the phosphorus and zinc accumulation of corn and wheat seedlings were all increased.At the same time,the total root length,the root surface area and the root volume of corn and wheat were also improved,thereby increasing the absorption capacity of seedling roots,and setting up good foundations for the growth of seedling stage.However,the treatment had no remarkable effects on the germination index,the germination potential and the germination rate of corn and wheat seeds.In the wheat test,the vigor index was lowered causing by the excessive number of seeds and the very high concentration of the seed coating agent.Overall,the optimum concentrations of fertilizer spray coatings for corn and wheat were 1:500 and 1:400 respectively. |
