Investigation On High Quality Cultivation And Popularization Of Sweet Corn Huizhou

Huizhou City is located in the southeast of Guangdong Province,with a favorable natural environment.In 2016,the planting area of sweet corn reached 36.7million hm~2,accounting for 34.4%of the total planting area in Guangdong Province.It is not only the main sweet corn producing area in our province,but also the most advantageous region for the future development of sweet corn.However,as a agricultural industry in Huizhou only for a short time,sweet corn varieties and supporting cultivation model in our city has not yet been a perfect system and standard.In this paper,from the aspects of variety,sowing,seedling raising,field management and late processing of sweet corn,we selected the main producing area of sweet corn in Huizhou City,studied the growth and development of sweet corn,and discussed the future development direction of sweet corn in Huizhou City,formed a set of high-quality cultivation and promotion suitable for Huizhou local.The extensive technology system provides a theoretical basis for the high quality production of sweet corn in Huizhou,and provides ideas for the adjustment of agricultural structure in the new rural construction in Huizhou.The main varieties of sweet corn planted in our city are Huitian 9,Xinmeixiazhen,Huameitan,Yuetan 13 and Nongda 108 ect.The traditional small-scale farming mode is still the important mode of production.Farmers generally have low educational background and weak acceptance ability.They mainly focus on personal experience and hearsay in field management and market strategy.Right High-tech production technology has a low acceptance capacity,a slow response to market changes,a lack of production standards and scientific theory,technology is aging,whether security or efficiency can not meet the requirements of the global information age.Therefore,through the investigation and research of sweet corn production in Huizhou City,this paper puts forward several ideas for the development of sweet corn industry:First,to establish high-yield and high-quality cultivation demonstration zones in the main production areas,to increase the demonstration and popularization of new varieties and new technologies;Second,to further develop the research and application of sweet corn high-quality cultivation techniques,for the current situation.Localization of high-tech and management to improve the level of high-quality cultivation technology of sweet corn in Huizhou City;The third is to deepen the extension of the processing industry chain,promote production,processing and sales integration system,improve the sweet corn market response and pressure resistance;The fourth is to strengthen the promotion of sweet corn stem and leaf deep processing technology to form;Fifth,promote green agriculture,reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides,reduce environmental pollution,improve the quality and commercial value of sweet corn;Sixth,strengthen the construction of service-oriented government,provide services for farmers,enterprises and cooperatives,and strengthen science and technology,developing farmers’education in rural areas and try to improve their agricultural technology.
