In order to study the effects of exogenous melatonin on the growth,yield and quality of adzuki bean,and provide theoretical basis and technical guidance for the cultivation and production of adzuki bean.The experiment was conducted in the pot plant of Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural Reclamation University in 2019.With ’zhenzhuhong’ and ’baoqinghong’ as experimental materials,the red adzuki bean was sprayed with 50 μ mol / L,100 μ mol / L and200 μ mol / L at seedling stage,flower pod stage and seed filling stage The effects of exogenous melatonin on morphological characteristics,physiological characteristics,yield and grain quality of adzuki bean were studied.The experimental results show that:Melatonin treatment promoted the plant morphological characteristics of adzuki bean,and improved the plant height,leaf area,root length,nodule weight and nodule number of adzuki bean.Among them,the plant height,root length and nodule number of adzuki bean were significantly improved.Among the melatonin treatments,100 μmol/L melatonin treatment had the best effect.200 μmol/L treatment had no significant effect on morphological characteristics of adzuki bean.It may have inhibitory effect.There was no significant difference between melatonin and adzuki bean.50 μmol/L and 100 μmol/ L melatonin treatment could significantly improve photosynthetic parameters.The regulation effect on chlorophyll fluorescence parameters was significant.It can also increase the content of photosynthetic pigment in leaves.The results showed that the appropriate melatonin treatment could improve the photosynthetic capacity of adzuki bean leaves.Among them,100 μmol/L melatonin had the best effect.200 μmol/L melatonin treatment had no significant effect on morphological characteristics of adzuki bean.It may have inhibitory effect.On the whole,the regulation range of melatonin on the cooperative use of pearl red is greater than that of Baoqing red.Melatonin treatment promoted the absorption and utilization of nutrients in adzuki bean,increased the contents of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium in leaves,stems and roots,and increased the number of seeds per plant,pods per plant,100 seed weight and seed weight per plant.The treatment of 100 μmol/L melatonin had higher yield and better control effect on Yield and yield components.Spraying 100 μmol/L melatonin pearl red at flowering and pod stage had the most significant effect on increasing yield,with an increase rate of 6.4%.Spraying 100μmol/L melatonin Baoqing red at seed filling stage had the most significant effect on increasing yield,with an increase rate of 9.1%.The results showed that melatonin treatment could improve the quality of adzuki bean seeds,especially the treatment of 100 μmol/L melatonin at grain filling stage.The protein content,potassium content,calcium content,iron content,zinc content and sand yield of pearl red and Baoqing red increased by 31.3% and 26.5%,31.9% and 28.3%,22.2% and 18.7%,16.8% and13.2%,18.6% and 11.4%,1.5% and 3.0%,respectively,.The results showed that melatonin had a good effect on the quality of adzuki bean.In conclusion,through the regulation of exogenous melatonin,the photosynthesis of adzuki bean was improved,the absorption and utilization of nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium nutrients in adzuki bean were promoted,the growth and development of adzuki bean were ensured,the yield of Adzuki Bean per plant was improved,and the contents of protein,trace elements,starch and fat in adzuki bean seeds were improved.100μmol/L melatonin treatment had the most significant effect.
