Cigarette beetle Lasioderma serricorne(Fabricius)belongs to Coleopter Anobiidae,is the world’s widespread storage pests.Because of its wide distribution, fast propagation and extremely harmful,it has become the world’s largest tobacco storage pest, causing huge economic losses. For the study of cigarette beetle on the invasion of stored tobacco selectivity and reasons, this experiment uses the independent design Y-tube olfactometer and square L.serricorne selector instrument to simulate the environment in air circulation and closed warehouse and took various aroma components of tobacco leaves as odor sources to observe the behavior selection of cigarette beetle in the process of invading tobacco leaves. The purpose of this study was to reveal the role of some aroma components in tobacco leaves in the selection of invasion targets, and to provide a theoretical basis for the prevention and control of cigarette beetleThe main research contents and results are shown as follows:1.Ten reprensentative flavor source in the tobacco leaves such as dihydroactinidiolide;β-damascenone;isoprene;maltol;2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine;5-methylfurfural;isovaleric acid;β-methylvaleric acid;neophytadiene and nicotine was selected as odour sources, and the influence of these substances on cigarette beetle selection behavior was measured by Y-tube olfactometer. The result showed that 2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine was the most attractive to cigarette beetle, attractive index as high as 86.67%;nicotine,dihydroactinidiolide and β-damascenone also has a strong ability to attract cigarette beetle, the attractive index is greater than 50%.Different concentrations of 2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine had different trapping ability for cigarette beetle, and the selective percentage was the highest when the concentration was 10-3mol/L2.Square L.serricorne selector instrument was used to simulate the environment in the closed warehouse and observe the selectivity of cigarette beetle to different types of tobacco leaves and different producing areas. The results showed that compared with burley tobacco and cigar tobacco, cigarette beetle is more likely to harm flue-cured tobacco, oriental tobacco and dark sun-cured tobacco, among which flue-cured tobacco is the most selective. When 2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine was applied on the surface of burley tobacco, the attraction ability of treated burley tobacco to cigarette beetle was significantly greater than that of untreated burley tobacco, and the selectivity of cigarette beetle to flue-cured and treated burley tobacco no longer showed significant difference.2,3,5,6-tetramethylpyrazine can improve the ability of tobacco leaves to attract tobacco beetle3.Simultaneous distillation extraction(SED)was used to extract the acidic, neutral and alkaline volatile aroma substances from tobacco leaves.Three types of volatile aroma substances were used as odor sources, and Y-tube olfactometer was used to conduct the behavior response experiment of cigarette beetle. The results showed that:the ability to attract cigarette beetle:neutral extract>alkaline extract>acid extract. This paper revealed the differences between different types of tobacco leaves and different aroma components in tobacco leaves in their ability to attract cigarette beetle, and preliminarily explored the role of some aroma components in tobacco leaves in the process of selecting invasion objects of cigarette beetle. It has important reference and guiding significance for the environmental protection control of tobacco beetle in processing and storage.
