| With the deterioration of ecological environment,water scarcity has become a key factor restricting agricultural development,China has realized the existence and urgency of water crisis,especially in the arid and semi-arid areas in the northeast,water shortage has seriously hindered agricultural development.As agriculture is the largest water consuming sector in China,there is a large space for water conservation,so the implementation of water-saving agriculture and water-saving technology are crucial to alleviate the current water shortage,and the development of water-saving agriculture plays an important role in alleviating the contradiction between water supply and demand,improving the ecological environment,ensuring national food security and reducing poverty.However,macro data show that water-saving drip irrigation technology clearly has the effect of alleviating the conflict between water supply and demand,improving the ecological environment and increasing yields,but it has not been widely used..Based on the results of this study,294 valid questionnaires were obtained from farmers in the Fuxin area,and a descriptive statistical analysis was conducted to understand the current situation of farmers’ knowledge and adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology.The following conclusions were drawn: farmers’ perceptions of the convenience of adopting water-saving drip irrigation technology,farmers’ perceptions of the labor-saving level of water-saving drip irrigation technology,farmers’ perceptions of the effect of water-saving drip irrigation technology on yield and income,farmers’ perceptions of the risk of adopting water-saving drip irrigation technology,farmers’ education level,farmers’ total arable land area,farmers’ perceptions of the risk of adopting water-saving drip irrigation technology,and farmers’ perceptions of the convenience of adopting water-saving drip irrigation technology.The adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology was significantly influenced by farmers’ education level,farmers’ total farming area,farmers’ satisfaction with government technology promotion,and farmers’ satisfaction with government technology promotion.The factors of farmers’ perception of labor-saving level of water-saving drip irrigation technology,farmers’ perception of the effect of water-saving drip irrigation technology on increasing yield and income,farmers’ education level,farmers’ total arable land area,farmers’ demonstration households or not,farmers’ perception of the convenience of adopting water-saving drip irrigation technology,and farmers’ satisfaction with the government’s technology publicity and training had positive effects on farmers’ adoption behavior of water-saving drip irrigation technology;farmers’ perception of the risk of adopting water-saving drip irrigation technology had positive effects on farmers’ adoption behavior.Farmers’ perception of the risk of drip irrigation technology adoption has a negativeeffect on the adoption of drip irrigation technology.Farmers’ age,investment preference,farm income,years of farming experience,technical training,and satisfaction with government technical subsidies did not have significant effects on the adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology.Through the analysis of the influence of farmers’ perceptions on the adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology and the current situation of water-saving agriculture in Fuxin,this paper suggests constructive suggestions to promote the widespread adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology in the research area from the government,society,and farmers respectively: strengthen the publicity and guidance related to the adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology,conduct various forms of training on water-saving drip irrigation technology,improve the subsidy policies related to the adoption of technology,and improve the adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology.The following are constructive suggestions to promote the adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology in the study area: strengthen the publicity and guidance on the adoption of water-saving drip irrigation technology,conduct various forms of training on water-saving drip irrigation technology,improve the subsidy policy on the adoption of technology,increase the investment in rural education,strengthen the communication with the surrounding demonstration households,and increase the frequency of Internet usage by farmers. |
