| Cultivation seasons of kenaf and rapeseed are overlap in Guangxi,China.The growth period of kenaf is from August to December,while the growth period of rapeseed is from September to April of the next year.In order to make full use of light,heat and land resources,two kenaf varieties and three rapeseed varieties(lines)were selected as research material in this experiment,All those matetials were planted in the experimental farm of College of Agriculture of Guangxi University,to explore the feasibility of interplanting kenaf and rape.Four planting patterns of single-crop kenaf,single-crop rapeseed,inter-row interplanting and inter-plant interplanting were set up to investigate the effects of different planting patterns on the plant growth,yield traits,and available soil nutrients of kenaf and rapeseed,so as to screen out the varieties(line)of kenaf and rapeseed suitable for the inter-crop kenaf rapeseed and the appropriate field planting pattern,and provide reference for the inter-crop cultivation techniques of kenaf and rapeseed,improving the land use efficiency in rural areas of Guangxi,and boosting the rural revitalization.Among all the intercropping treatments,interweaving is the best.The main results were as follows.1.The effect of kenaf-rapeseed interplanting on the growth and development of kanaf and rapeseed was studied.The results showed that kenaf-rapeseed interplanting was conductive to the improvement of plant yield.The interplanting yield between the two interplanting crops in type species was the highest,the yield of rapeseed varieties(or lines)restore R7(inter-row interplanting with kenaf B1)was 13.37 g,2.15 g more than single cropping of restore R7.When rapeseed variety(department)Hui R7 kenaf B1 intercropping,the total fresh weight of single kenaf plant was up to 252.25 g,which was 45.15% higher than the total fresh weight of single kenaf cropping.2.Through the study of kenaf against rapeseed-rapeseed the influence of the accumlation of dry matter,the results show that in kenaf B1 and rapeseed varieties(or lines)restore R7 inter-row interplanting cultivation mode,the rapeseed harvest the whole plant dry matter accumulation was higher than monoculture of rapeseed,in the final flowering,pod most mature rapeseed whole plant dry matter accumulation in kenaf B1 and rapeseed varieties(or lines)restore R7inter-row interplanting planting patterns were 30.91 g and 51.15 g,higher than monoculture rapeseed in the accumulation of dry matter of flowers,pod maturity.3.By studying the effects of intercropping kenaf and rapeseed on yield-related traits of kenaf,the results showed that intercropping of kenaf and rapeseed was beneficial to increase the yield of kenaf plants.In the case of intercropping of different kenaf rapeseed,the skin weight,leaf weight and total fresh weight than of single kenaf.Kenaf B1 and rapeseed variety(line)Hui R7 intercropping pattern had the highest tare weight per plant,which reached 128.22 g,increasing yield by 48.93% compared with kenaf alone.The largest single plant with total fresh weight was kenaf B1 and rapeseed Hui R7 intercropping pattern 525.25 g.4.Effects of kenaf-rapeseed interplanting on soil available nutrients.The results showed that kenaf-rapeseed interplanting was beneficial to soil improvement and thus enhanced soil fertility.With rapeseed varieties(or lines)in kenaf B1 restore R7 inter-row interplanting kenaf planting mode,rapeseed alkali-hydrolysable n and available p was significantly higher than that of monoculture,kenaf inter-row interplanting cultivation mode of alkaline hydrolysis nitrogen content up to 124.25 g,rape inter-row interplanting cultivation model of 117.28 g.Available phosphorus was significantly higher than that of single cropping,and the highest was intercropping 1(kenaf)18.87 g.Available potassium showed no difference under different planting modes.The results showed that the content of alkali-hydrolyzed nitrogen,available phosphorus and soil fertility could be improved by intercropping kenaf rapeseed. |
