Study On The Current Status And Protection Of Ancient And Famous Trees In The Central City Of Wuhan

Ancient and famous trees are precious natural and cultural wealth of human beings,which are deeply affected by human activities.Many tree species have been destroyed to varying degrees,so it is very important to protect ancient and famous trees in cities.it is also of great significance for the construction of an civilized city.In this paper,the ancient and famous trees in Wuhan are selected as the study object,and the study is carried out by consulting literature,field investigation and soil experimental analysis,the specific contents and results are as follows:Firstly,the general situation and growth status of ancient and famous trees in Wuhan are studied.It shows that its spatial distribution is extremely uneven,with the largest number in Wuchang District of 191 trees,while only one in Jianghan District and Qiaokou District.There are many tree species.Cinnamomum camphora is the most,Celtis julianae Schneid is the second,and there are only one tree of many precious tree species.Most of the tertiary protected species are more than 100 years old.There are only 5 secondary protected species with the age of 300 to 499 years old,and only 2 first-class protected species with the age of more than 500 years.It is found that the number of normal plants in the study area was 196,and the number of abnormal plants was 65,accounting for 75.1% and 24.9% of the total.Secondly,the living environment of ancient and famous trees in the central city of Wuhan is studied.It is found that there are mainly 8 kinds of ancient and famous trees in the field survey,and the distribution is balanced,among which the number of woodland type is the largest(30),and the temple and hotel type is the least(17).The ground pavement is a single hard shop with 17 trees,accounting for 9.4% of the total number of samples.Human activities not only have positive or negative effects on ancient and famous trees,but also human beings.Thirdly,under the condition of not destroying the normal growth of ancient trees,the soil samples of 21 ancient trees were sampled and nine indexes were tested.Compared with the indexes in "Green planting soil" CJ/T340-2016,it was found that only the mean value of EC was not in its range,and the average values of other seven indexes except compactness(no comparative data)were all in its range.The results show that the soil chemical properties of the ancient trees are good as a whole,but there are differences in different areas.By comparing with the classification standard of Chinese soil,it is found that there are some problems in organic matter,alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium.At the same time,it is found that there are some problems of soil compaction and artificial trampling in the soil of some old and famous trees.Finally,I studied the protection measures of ancient and famous trees in Wuhan,and it is found that there are a variety of protection measures.The most common protection measures are signs,tree ponds and fences,but 16 old trees do not have any protection measures.there are other parts of the ancient trees that do not take comprehensive protection measures.And analyzed the reasons and influencing factors of the above-mentioned status quo.Some problems are listed,such as the problems of ancient and famous trees themselves,the imperfection of protection work,the interaction between human beings and ancient trees,soil problems and low social participation,etc.it also puts forward some suggestions on protection measures from four aspects: conservation measures,rejuvenation measures,policy management measures and targeted measures.Through the study,we have a more detailed and timely understanding of the current situation of ancient and famous trees in Wuhan.I also point out some shortcomings and protection suggestions,which are of reference significance for the protection of ancient and famous trees in the study area.It also provides some reference significance for the protection of ancient and famous trees in other cities and the rational planning of urban landscape architecture.
