As is known to all,water resource is one of the most precious wealth of human beings,especially the fresh water resource needed by People’s Daily life,which is the key to guarantee the national agriculture,industry and social happiness index.China is a serious water shortage country,water resources are mostly used for agricultural irrigation,the key to save water is to improve agricultural water efficiency.Problems such as inaccuracy of open channel flow measurement expensive bulky flow measurement equipment and large head loss in flow measurement process have yet to be solved.Therefore,convenient,fast,automatic and accurate open channel flow monitoring is the research direction of this paper.In order to improve the monitoring ability of water resources in China,the open channel flow measurement in irrigation areas is combined with the cloud platform of Internet of Things.Through hardware and software design,the automation and informatization of the flow measurement process are realized,and the real-time and online monitoring of the flow value in open channels is realized.This not only facilitates the data reading and storage,but also improves the accuracy of the flow measurement in open channels.In this paper,on the basis of the existing open channel flow method and the device,considering the accuracy of measurement equipment,product price and convenience,and developed a kind of open channel flow device automatically,based on dilution method to YD-1 h salinometer and iot cloud platform,realizes the real-time online observation in the open channel flow,provides a new method for open channel flow.The main research contents and conclusions of this paper include the following:(1)It is necessary to develop an automatic flow measuring device,which can realize the automatic flow measurement of open channel and observe the flow of open channel in the field of flow measurement;(2)It is necessary to combine the automatic flow measuring device of open channel with the cloud platform of the Internet of Things to form an automatic flow measuring system of open channel,so as to achieve the purpose of real-time online display of the relationship curve between concentration C and time T and the flow of open channel,and to observe the flow of open channel in a remote computer;(3)The influence of the cross-section shape of open channel on the accuracy of the automatic flow measuring device is studied,and the conclusion is drawn that the cross-section shape does not need to be considered when the system is used to measure the flow;The research method is to verify the feasibility of the system through feasibility study experiments,laboratory experiments and field experiments,and compare the measured open channel flow with the measured open channel measurement by contrast experiments,and analyze the measuring accuracy of the device.The purpose of this study is to design an automatic flow measurement system for open channels based on dilution method,so as to improve the automation level,accuracy and applicability of the device for flow measurement in open channels.Through laboratory and field experiments,it is verified that the automatic flow measuring device meets the accuracy requirements of the existing open channel measuring device,and that the accuracy of the device is not affected by the shape of the open channel section.The automatic flow measuring device of open channel based on dilution method developed in this paper is cheap,easy to carry,small error of flow measuring,convenient to operate,and can observe data online in real time.It has a certain promotion and application value,and plays a certain role in promoting the development of open channel flow measuring.
